It is clear Everett is all about customer service. Jamie Garcia was pleasant to deal with and never failed to follow through on what he said he would do. He and Ryan Hoke were both patient and helpful in learning about my new vehicle. I couldn't be happier with my new Chevy Impala. Cathy Crisp was also courteous and helpful. It was worth the drive from Lenoir and I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership to other folks. More
Bought a used vehicle. At the time the salesman and finance person said they couldn't get the car fax to print but assured me it was a clean car fax and had never been wrecked. Well, I went to trade i finance person said they couldn't get the car fax to print but assured me it was a clean car fax and had never been wrecked. Well, I went to trade it in about a year later because I needed something bigger for kids. To my surprise my sales rep came back after looking at the car and told me that it had extensive repair work done to it in the front end. The rep is a good friend and would never lead me wrong. He pulled a car fax and sure enough the car had been in a collision and the entire front end nearly replaced. I never did get a car fax after repeated attempts for months with Everett. The sales rep and finance man was terrible with follow through. Finally I did get one but it showed no accidents. I sent this complaint to DMV for investigation. I was not satisfied with the treatment I got from Jeff Phillips the manager of the store. To get in a vehicle of equal value we were going to have to spend more money basically. My credit was not real good and that is certainly no fault of the dealership so that's on me. Consequences of bad divorce. He was willing to put me in another vehicle but would not absorb any of the negative equity incurred by the purchase on wrecked vehicle. Jeff Phillips was not pleased that I went to DMV. Results of investigation were that it was wrecked, and repaired just barely below the 25% of damage of total value which by law unfortunately in NC does not have to be revealed. The DMV officer did find that it was suppose to be repaired with original manufactured parts of make but it was not. It was repaired with aftermarket parts and there are two welds in the fenders where they were cut and repaired. Bottom line, the repair shop cut corners and ripped the original owner. Not Everett's fault there but Everett does know when a car has been wrecked when they buy them. These guys are suppose to be professionals and they know what they are looking at. I asked more than once if they were sure that the car had not been in any accidents. They were sure it was fine and assured me that it had not and was clean. We could not come to an agreement. My husband and I were very patient, never lost our tempers like many would have. Jeff Phillips was kind to us as was the sales rep. Our biggest issue was that he would not absorb at least some of the negative equity. I felt that I should have been given more gratuity then this. When I challenged Jeff and disagreed by telling him that this was not a good deal. I would never have been in this position in the first place had I known the car was wrecked. He then replied by email to contact his attorney from here on out and that he was not offering anything more then what he was at the present. They can afford lawyers, we can't. My husband was disabled from a back injury which led to major surgery. So basically, we are stuck with a car that should have been totaled probably. We have problems with the front end and now know why. I was very disappointed, felt taken advantage of. The finance man especially was just a flat out liar. He works at another dealership nearby. He was fired for misconduct over something else. I told him I only wanted my credit ran at two or at most three institutions. Instead he ran it through about 16 if I remember correctly. If I have to do business with them to get it right then I would I suppose but never again. My husband owned two new vehicles from Everett and paid them both off. Maybe because we were not big money customers or something, I don't know. If it were my business I would have eaten the negative equity and put the customer in an even better vehicle. So goes the car business, hasn't changed much. I would be happy if they made it right but they didn't and closed it with the attorney threat. Hate leaving bad review but this was my experience unfortunately. Make sure you get a car fax. No matter what the reason is, if they don't have one, do not buy. In fact, ask for two verifications, not just carfax. There is another reporting company as well. Buying a car should be a fun and exciting experience regardless of bad credit, it happens to good people too. Maybe next time, as we certainly learned our lesson here. More
Staff was friendly, efficient, and not pushy. I do not trade cars often but was very satisfied with the entire experience. We have been to several dealerships but Everett treated us the best. All I have to say is "Man alive it was worth the drive!" Everett Chevrolet GMC far exceeded my expectations. I live over an hour and a half away and decided to visit Everett based on a personal re drive!" Everett Chevrolet GMC far exceeded my expectations. I live over an hour and a half away and decided to visit Everett based on a personal recommendation from another prominent dealership in the area (Killians Hardware) and the reviews I read. I am so glad I did. Not only was their price great but their customer service far exceeded my expectations. I had a very specific list of requirements for a new 2014 GMC truck. They immediately were able to locate one and bring it in within 24 hours. Tamela Everett made me feel like family and Mike White communicated with me the entire time with updates as to where things were in process. I found this extremely helpful since I live in Asheville. It made the drive worth it! Before visiting Everett I had been to a local dealer around the Fletcher market and was turned off by their lack of customer service. That dealer made me feel that buying from them was a privilege. Well it wasn't. At Everett they bent over backwards to make sure everything was perfect. I was very impressed with their service shop as well. Everything that I have read about them is top notch. When I picked up my new truck they put me through a tutorial with Ryan Hoke. He was very professional and extremely knowledgeable about the product. With all of the new technology that comes in today's vehicles you need to have someone that can explain things in a clear way - Ryan did just that! I plan on getting my service work done here as well. When I entered the service area I was impressed with the comfortable surroundings and attentive service staff. It is well worth the drive! More
I purchased a new Terrain on Labor Day. Chris was friendly and helpful, as was Cathy. Chris deserves a better office space. I had a perception of minor difficulty, primarily due to the amount friendly and helpful, as was Cathy. Chris deserves a better office space. I had a perception of minor difficulty, primarily due to the amount of time the paperwork required (considering my sterling credit) and related internal communications, but this was adequately addressed to my complete satisfaction by Tina, head of customer service. Possibly, Tina alone should have been rated 'great' under customer service, but my rating in that catagory reflects the business as a whole. I believe any problems, even though minor, were largely the result of a busy business open on a holiday. My initial impression was one of far too many sales managers considering the time required to process. However, given the chance, I would repeat the experience and would recommend this dealership to anyone. They have demonstrated that they do care about providing favorable customer care. More

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Tina Lynch for her assistance with my purchase. I was having a couple issues when she stepped in and came to my rescue. Being a business owner myself, every com for her assistance with my purchase. I was having a couple issues when she stepped in and came to my rescue. Being a business owner myself, every company should have a "Tina". There are still a couple issues to be resolved and I have all the faith in the world that Tina will be there to the end with me. I would also like to thank John Froedge and Cathy Crisp. They also were extremely helpful. More
