2 purchases The first purchase was great. The second purchase for my daughter was terrible. The salesperson (Jon Spears) and the finance department were wonderful The first purchase was great. The second purchase for my daughter was terrible. The salesperson (Jon Spears) and the finance department were wonderful on both purchases. However the sales desk manager who I talked to was terrible on the second purchase. He did not listen to what I said. I was a F&I manager and director for 12 years in the auto industry and I wanted to get a Equinox for my daughter with payments at $450. I came early to start the process because I new my daughter was buried and we had to work on finance rates and terms. I told the sales desk manager that if the vehicle she picked out was not at the payment range we would switch her to one that would work. It's easier to show someone which vehicles are in the payment range than to just throw someone in the box "to see what happens". The finance department did not make any rate only a flat rate and my daughter had the supplier discount, so no money there for the dealer. There was also no room to move on her trade so once again money to made. I do not have a problem if the F&I department makes a point or 2. I also don't mind if the front end makes a couple hundred on the trade since we buy our vehicles at the supplier discount. I do mind when I waste my time, the saleapersons and finances time. This could have been an enjoyable purchase for my daughter but it was not. We still purchased the Equinox only because of the sales person (he actually demo'd the vehicle), and the finance managers hard work. More

A friend had recommended Tom Bush....a salesman in Hickory and I had been e-mailing him . Tom really listen to what was important to both of us (completely two different things). He found a SUV which made both of us happy. My husband agreed to drive one and a half hours to Hickory! From the time we walked in it felt good! Everyone was great! My husband didn't feel like he was at a dealership! LOL It was fun....Tom Bush was the best and the finance manager Jamie Wilson was great to work with too. They even had someone to help set up communication and I might say very patient with our lack of technology ! We were very Happy with our SUV that we drove home!! Thanks Tom Bush! Wish list fullfilled- Perfect 10 I had been shopping vehicles in lots and on-line for four-weeks, looking for just the right vehicle, with a short but unusual wish list. Memorial Day I had been shopping vehicles in lots and on-line for four-weeks, looking for just the right vehicle, with a short but unusual wish list. Memorial Day, I met with Ramiro Garcia at the lot in Hickory and we searched the available inventory, test driving a couple of vehicles until the perfect "10" was identified. Garcia's knowledge of the vehicles and willingness to stick to the search provided the means. The purchase experience was smooth and convenient and the dealership was overly considerate of the problems related to delivery of the trade-in and purchasing materials, made the situation as easy as possible. I never expected the vehicle to be re-cleaned and maintenance rechecked before it was released. The purchase price for the vehicle was below that suggested by on-line resources and the trade-in value was more than fair. The vehicle was sold at a great special sale price. World Class Buying Experience Yesterday my wife and I stopped into Everett Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac with the intent of beginning our shopping process for a small SUV or Crossov Yesterday my wife and I stopped into Everett Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac with the intent of beginning our shopping process for a small SUV or Crossover vehicle. We had narrowed our search to a few vehicles and the Chevrolet Equinox, Chevrolet Trax, Buick Encore, and Ford Escape were among them. We were met at the showroom entrance by Ramiro Garcia who immediately made us feel at home by introducing himself and getting to know us as residents of the area rather than as prospective buyers. We shared our story with him only to discover that he relocated to the Hickory, NC area from the same general area from which we had come here. After getting to know us and our automotive needs he introduced us the Everett dealership by touring us throughout the grounds and showing us the wonderfully large selection of SUV's and Crossovers they had in stock. His no-pressure style enabled us to openly discuss what we liked and didn't like about each vehicle we sat in and walked around. When we had narrowed our selection to a couple vehicles Ramiro prepared them for test driving, and as soon as we took out the Buick Encore we fell in love with its styling, quality, and ride. Usually, this is where the car buying experience becomes difficult as there seems to be a never-ending process of price negotiating and explanations about how the dealership is working on low margins and tight budgets. To our surprise Ramiro presented us Everett's first proposal and then listened to our counter offer. With little more than a fifteen minute exchange we had agreed on terms and were on our way to driving off the property with a new Encore. Although we had really just begun the car shopping process and were open to visiting several dealerships to determine the vehicle and professionals that best fit our needs, once we met Ramiro and all the wonderful people at Everett we knew we needn't look any further. We truly had a world class buying experience at Everett Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac. I recommend to you the Everett Team and especially Ramiro Garcia. More
