On June 13, 2024 I had taken my Kia 2013 shortage for a recall service, I had the pleasure of Pamela caring for my needs. Pamela showed such an awesome interest in caring for my needs. Be careful when taking your car in for services. My car was magically damaged from the dealership to our home. As soon as I noticed my car was damaged, I immediately reported it to Evans Kia. It took them a week to respond stating they didn’t see anything on their camera where my car was damaged. I asked to see the video footage so I will see if they’ll show it to me. Update: They stated they cannot show me any video footage due to customer privacy. In other words, they don’t have any videos of my car. I highly recommend not buying or doing any business with Evan’s Kia. More
This service department is a full blown clown show! If they are selling service to their new vehicles, they are doing an extremely poor job. When a vehicle is covered under a manufacturer’s warranty the repair work should all be covered and should not be looking to the customer to pay part of the covered repairs. If the vehicle cannot be repaired within 1 business day a loaner car should be offered. I would not buy a wheelbarrow from this dealer nor would I have their so called service dept touch it! This is the bottom of the barrel of service departments! More
They have broken my trust three times. I purchased a vehicle and brought it back for service and cleaning. The cleaning job was horrible and was told the problem that I was experiencing was characteristic of the vehicle. I later brought it back because the transmission seemed to be jumping out of gear. I was given a late day appointment for what could have been a lengthy diagnosis. When I arrived I was told that in order to get a diagnosis I would be charged a diagnostic fee even though my vehicle is still under a new car warranty. The service person did not see my concern adequate enough to consult with a manager or even offer a returning customer a courtesy diagnosis to see if there was a true problem. I firmly believe the management should review their level of customer service because I will not return to this dealership for any future services or purchases. More

In part, our new car buying experience here was unpleasant, lengthy, and riddled with uncertainty. Our salesman and the sales manager were the only two exceptions to this unpleasant experience. Buying a new car should be exciting, however, there was no excitement during our experience. Honestly, we had never encountered such a unique car buying process before such as this one. Even though we have excellent credit and income, are well qualified buyers, and arrived at the dealership with the funds to make a large down payment, we were asked to sign a conditional delivery document. Usually, and it our understanding, that this particular document is for subprime borrowers. Additionally, the second set of our new car keys were held from us until two days later. It felt strange to us to leave the dealership with our conditional new car purchase knowing that someone else had possession of our second set of car keys. We were told that our new car was ours to drive away, but technically only until the dealership received final loan approval and loan funding from Kia Finance. So, our question was at that point, were we loan approved or not? Therefore, we felt that we could not really drive or enjoy our new car purchase until several days later after our purchase, since we felt that we had to park our new car at home until we were told that the car was really ours to keep, and to avoid being charged mileage if we had been asked to return the car. Additionally, we were asked to return to the dealership the next week so that our car could receive pre-delivery inspection. When we arrived at the service bay for this inspection, the service writer greeted us with frustration by asking us, what are y'all doing here. He then told us that we would have to wait three or 4 more hours for the inspection. The service writer did not greet us with a hello, how are you guys today, how may I help you guys today, good morning, no welcome greeting, and no congratulations on buying a new car from our dealership. Additionally, another staff member told us while we were on the phone with our car insurance agent to insure our new purchase, that he couldn't answer our agent's car safety feature question because he only does the paperwork. We were embarrassed and taken aback by this comment. We feel that the more appropriate response would have been for this staff member to say, I don't know the answer to your insurance agent's question, but I will try and find an answer for you, or I will ask your salesperson to join us in my office to provide the answer. We felt mistreated and that some staff members were unhelpful. More
