Buyers need to be very cautious! ! Eurocar is a very sales aggressive car dealership that specializes in exotic vehicles. I spoke to Harry Albert on March 24th regarding a Rolls Royc ! Eurocar is a very sales aggressive car dealership that specializes in exotic vehicles. I spoke to Harry Albert on March 24th regarding a Rolls Royce Dawn with the Black Badge package. They were asking $319k for the vehicle which had 12K miles. The car was described as immaculate. I told Harry I was looking at other options and went on with my shopping process. On March 31st, Harry called me and told me “I need to sell a car, because it is the last day of the month.” I stated that I felt the car was overpriced. He said, “make me an offer.” I offered them $279k. Then the owner called me and after trying to get me up on the price, he accepted the offer under the condition that I wired the money immediately, which I agreed and did so. On a positive side, everyone at the dealership was very professional throughout the process. When the car arrived, the interior was indeed immaculate. However, despite the clean Carfax, there were some obvious paint issues on the hood, grill, and Spirit of Ecstasy that indicate that the car had sustained some damage and underwent some cheaply done repairs; thus greatly lowering the value of the car. This car has the Black Badge package which includes a black chrome grill, and a black chrome Spirit of Ecstasy. This car has a chrome grill, and the Spirit of Ecstasy is chrome that had been painted black. The black paint is peeling off the chrome; that would never happen with a genuine black chrome Spirit of Ecstasy. These people are experts in trading exotic cars, so I believe that they had to be aware of these issues. There were several other issues not disclosed that I know 100% for sure that they knew about. 1. The lambs wool floor mats were cheap aftermarket mats, with no mats in the back. I even asked Harry about the mats, and he said he had just bought new mats. Cost to get new OEM mats is approximately $4k. 2. The car only had one key. I didn’t ask about the key, I just assumed it had 2 keys. Cost for a replacement key $2200. 3. The cost to have the proper Black Badge grill and Spirit of Ecstasy installed is approximately $16k. 4. One of the rear tires has been patched and leaks air. All 4 tires need to be replaced at a cost of $2k. So the great deal that I thought I was getting, really turned out to be a below average deal. I only bought the car because I trusted them, and I thought I was getting an amazing deal. When I addressed this situation with the owner, he basically said that it was a five year old car and previous owners must have made some changes. He seemingly couldn’t have cared less about my concerns and the facts. He said I got a good deal and I should be happy. It’s a shame that they were not honest and disclosed all the issues. Who wants a $279K car with peeling paint? Throughout my shopping other dealerships sent pictures of every imperfection on any car I was serious about buying; that is what I expect when purchasing from a reputable seller! Had these items been disclosed, I would not have bought the car. Now, I have to spend my time and money to get the car into the condition that I assumed it would be in. So something that should have been an enjoyable experience, is now a time consuming hassle. My overall perception is that these guys say and do whatever it takes to make a sale. It’s a shame that there are so many car dealers that simply have no real integrity. The bad news for Eurocar is that I was going to buy a G Wagon they had listed, now there is no way to trust these people. I suggest that if you are considering a purchase from Eurocar that you visit the dealership and have an expert inspect the car. I would have hired someone to do such an inspection, but they gave me no time to do so, and they seemed like honest people. Lesson learned, you will rarely get a good deal from a car dealership! I should have been more cautious and not so trusting with Eurocar of Costa Mesa. More
Excellent Service *** CJ is the man to call I called Eurocar and was connceted with CJ. I was interested in a Panamera Turbo that I saw on Autotrader. I live on the other side of the country and I called Eurocar and was connceted with CJ. I was interested in a Panamera Turbo that I saw on Autotrader. I live on the other side of the country and had some very specific parameters I was looking for. CJ said he would take and text a couple pictures for me and they were on my phone in less than 2 minutes. The car is beautiful. I had a couple more questions due to it being so far away. Not being in it physically until it was delivered concerned me so CJ did a Facetime walk around for me. He expedited the financing (which exceeded my expectations) and the deal was done. Paperwork Fedexed the next morning and car is on the way. CJ was incredibly honest and professional . He accomodated my every request. Thank you so much CJ More
