Misrepresentation of Service fees. After being on the phone for 30 minutes to find out they did not have the part I needed in stock, which I explained over the phone the AC condenser wa After being on the phone for 30 minutes to find out they did not have the part I needed in stock, which I explained over the phone the AC condenser was leaking and I wanted to preorder parts so I do not have to make 2 trips, I had scheduled my appointment a week in advance to be on my day off, 1 week later. I had papers from another shop that I showed which they had referred me to this company because my car make and model is serviced at Euro Motors smart cars., I asked for the earliest appointment that day, which they gave me a 7:30 am. appt. I wanted to be in and out which is why I scheduled so early, because I have other errands to run on my day off..Today I get there 7:30 with full rows in the service lanes full of people waiting. My SERVICE ADVISOR ; JOSEPH LYONS seemed to be a polite individual explaining and answering questions I had at first, but later I found out that he was 2 faced, slick and shy , scamming like ways with the prices. I was quoted $149 for the diagnostic check to find out where there was a leak coming from the AC unit, (which is were they put a refridgerant in to recharge the AC and detect where the leak is coming from). I explained to him I know all so well what they need to do to find the leak as I have got the same service done at another place and showed the papers, but that place could not fix my car model , because the person that was able to do it left their shop and their staff referred me here. I was told it would be about and Hour just pay $149. 2hours later the car has not even been looked at for diagnostics but he brought some mechanic with him and was trying to switch up his quote of $149 diagnostic and say that I need to pay $280 for them in total for diagnostic to put the refrigerant in and recharge the ac unit and find out where the leak is and it was like he was trying to play me as a fool, we kept going back and forth about what he quoted for diagnostic fee, and I'm asking him multiple times where how is the $149 diagnostics going to dectect where the leak is if i have to pay $280 ....It was not until after 2 and half hours of getting no where that I said well I will leave and get this diagnostic test else where, then he finally came to his senses to credit his mistake and not acknowledge it, but the only fair person in this situation was the mechanic that he brought up at the time. so finally I ended pay $149 almost 3hours later. and then they want to wash my car. I told them not to wash the car and they wash it anyway. The guy that washed the car had said he got the gears stuck in drive mode and could get it out of drive and says I need to see my service tech for an unrelated appt. I wasted about 3 and half hours to get my car washed and misguided fees. bad experience. if I could rate 0 stars I would. He then slammed the phone down in my ear. Visited Euro today to pickup my Vehicle and asked the cashier for headquarters number. Cashier reached out to a colleague who wanted to know Why I needed the number? I was provided with Euro number instead; cashier so noticeably irritated, researched the number to HQ for me. German Martinez, my Service Advisor always amazing. The Best Advisor I have ever had; I have owned 3 Mercedes Benz. I am drafting a letter of complaint to Headquarters. More
They did not treat me well My car was in for a routine service. It fell off a bay and was totaled. Accidents happen. Fortunately, no one was injured. Namely, they kept stalling me and keeping me in the dark as to the 'next step,' until, after a month, I threw a fit in the service manager's office. Their offer finally came and it was a rock bottom valuation. So I made a claim versus my own insurance company, and received $7,000 more than their offer. I felt cheated and abused. More
Good Service - Over Charged I brought in my car GLE 350 2016 for B Service. Prior to making my appointment, I did a research in MBWorlg.org, mbusa.com, mecedesgle.org and many I brought in my car GLE 350 2016 for B Service. Prior to making my appointment, I did a research in MBWorlg.org, mbusa.com, mecedesgle.org and many more MB sites, The cost of Services B car (20K) is between $360 to $550.00. I was hoping and budgeted in that range. However, the advisor, I must admit was excellent in his customer services, very approachable and relatable, told me the B Services is $840.00. I was dumbfounded. The total cost came to $815.00. I was charged, according to my invoice, $468.00 for labor and $283.11 for parts. The car millage was 21,617. I feel I was over charged my at least $250.00. I bought the car from there and have only taken the car here at Bethesda. I feel overcharged, I would like to get back my refund. On a different note, my service advisor was excellent. Unlike my first advisor before I switched, if you need an advisor that is approachable, responsive with charisma, ask for Mr. Gross. I give my advisor 6 stars instead of 5, but the charge get 1 star. Service date Sept 28 2017. More
Best Service Ever I made an appointment with Dawn Swanson to bring my Mercedes Sprinter 2500 in for a driveability issue. When I arrived ( which was late, because my V I made an appointment with Dawn Swanson to bring my Mercedes Sprinter 2500 in for a driveability issue. When I arrived ( which was late, because my Verizon GPS had taken me approx. 13 minutes in the wrong direction ), I was written up and my Van was taken in immediately. The technician verified my issue, replaced the part needed and then test drove my vehicle to confirm the repair. Never in my life have I been treated with such respect and consideration as I was treated by Dawn, Jorge, Alvaro and Tyler. I feel that Mercedes Corporation should ask EuroMotorcars Sprinter in Rockville, MD to train the other Mercedes Service Centers on how to operate a Service and Parts Department. I purposely drove several hours out of my way to come to Euromotorcars Sprinter Service Center because they were reccommended very highly by another customer of theirs. This is the 4th Mercedes Sprinter that I've owned. I now will drive further from where I live to PURCHACE my next Sprinter and I will only bring my Sprinter to Euromotorcars of Rockville, MD to have serviced. I had only purchaced my Sprinter from anther Dealership because it was hours closer to my home. More
Nightmare repair I needed body repair and realignment so I called Euromotors, where I'd purchased the car and always taken it for service. I called to make an appointment and dropped my car off at the appointed time and date. After not hearing anything for ten days, I called only to hear that they didn't know where my car was. They located it later in the day, but the "misplacement" meant that the body shop didn't get the car until almost two weeks after I'd brought it in. The repair took three weeks and the completion date kept getting pushed out. And then my car was stolen from the dealership. It was immediately retrieved by the police, but that didn’t help me much when I was awakened by the police at 4 am and now have to go to court. The thieves had access to my name and address from the registration documents in the glove compartment. And a relatively minor repair took 6 weeks. The dealership had my car detailed as an apology and that’s it. I (and my insurance company) had to pay the full amount. I was told, "these things happen." Do they!? The body work was excellent but they lost me with their complete disregard for customer service. I will never go there again. More
