We didn't go in to Nissan of Greer expecting to get the pathfinder we really liked. We had a Nissan Versa we were trading in and knew the value to loan ratio was a little upside down. We had also previously calculated what our payments would be on the beautiful blue pathfinder before we went in and knew it was out of our budget. We really thought the only vehicle with a third row seat that we could afford would be a Kia Sorento, but we wanted to stay with Nissan if possible and a third row seat was a must. I test drove the pathfinder and really enjoyed the feel of the car so we decided to go crunch some numbers to see what we were looking at payment wise. Sure enough to purchase the vehicle the payments were out of our price range. Then the sales manager switched us to a lease and the payments were where we could afford. However, they forgot to tell us the first payment on the lease was due at the time of signing. We were not prepared for that payment so instead of saying we could not purchase the car; they paid our first payment. Then come to find out we were only approved for a certain payment amount and what we had originally agreed to was over that amount. Once again Nissan of Greer came through for us. They increased the amount they gave us in our trade and decreased the car even more. Once they did that we were able to keep the pathfinder and our payments were lowered to fit our budget. We had a wonderful experience working with Nissan of Greer. It was not a hassle, we didn't feel pressured to buy the car, and they went above and beyond what any other dealership would do to keep us in the car we were happy with. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who wants to purchase a car. Tim, Mike, and Bernard were great to work with, and really nice guys. More
I thought the overall experience was great before I was not hassled nor pressured into buying a vehicle. Danny was a very nice man who took time to tell us about every car that we test drove I would trust this man to sale me anything. But on the other end the owner did not show me any customer service he was every car that we test drove I would trust this man to sale me anything. From the time we stepped on to the lot the team at Nissan of Greer made us feel at ease and welcomed even though the weather was cold, windly and rainy. The entire staff was always warm and friendly. I would not recommend this sales person. He never gets back in touch with you when he says he will. In fact, he was persistent until he got us in, but then everything was left to us. When he did not got back with us the fourth time he promised, we bought a more expensive vehicle from another dealership. We called to let him know and he got upset and misled us.
