I went to look and not buy, but my sales person Makia Hyman was so kind and not pushy at all. She answered all of my questions and worked with the manager and finance person to make the deal happen. I went to Nissan of Greer to test drive a Chevy Malibu. I liked the car and discussed trading my 2001 Buick LeSabre in on the car. I knew I needed a low monthly payment and they were able to find a bank to give me a low monthly payment, however, I still wanted to think about it another day. When I told him I wanted to think about it, he told me it was too late that he already got a commitment from the bank. Well, here it is a couple of months later, and yes, I need to get out from the car payment. They still have my Buick LeSabre on their lot and I contacted them to see about getting it back for the $2000 that they allowed me in trade. However, they are telling me that I would have to pay them $2300 more than what they allowed me in trade because they claim that they put that much money into the car. But, as I was leaving, I noticed that the price on the windshield clearly stated $3999 but they are wanting me to pay them $4300 to get my car back. That is ridiculous! I received a response to my rating and spoke with the General Manager who tried to tell me that they had put that much into repairs to justify the $3999 price. Then, a couple of days later, I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from Greer Nissan. They asked me if I was still looking to buy a car and I explained the situation to her and she told me that the Manager would be willing to work with me if I would make an appointment to speak with him face-to-face. I agreed and she set up the appointment. Well, I showed up and spoke with the General Manager and after making my offer again, he mentioned that he had already told me that he couldn't accept my offer. When I told him that Greer Nissan initiated this meeting, he was surprised! Come to find out that they retain an outside marketing firm to make these calls for them and he apologized and said that this meeting should not have been set up without his approval. Here again, this was a big waste of my time and I was not able to get my car back. Their prices are too high to begin with; a prime example is the 2011 Chevy Malibu that they pressured me into buying. They sold it to me for $14999 and 3 months later will buy it back for $11000, and I still owe $12678. I will never do business with them again and will not recommend them to anyone. More

Nissan of Greer and Mike Ellis helped make getting my first car as seamless and enjoyable as possible. Mike did a very good job in informing about the Civic Hybrid I wanted to buy. He gave me a thorough overview of what to expect out of the Honda Civic in general. Mike told me what the benefits and potential drawbacks of owning a hybrid vehicle would be. As we looked over the Civic Hybrid's CarFax, he clarified the more technical points within the report. As I test drove the Civic Hybrid with Mike, he let my mother and I know what kind of driving experience we should expect from such a vehicle. I wanted to emphasize Mike's friendliness and cooperation during this entire process. At no point did I ever feel pressured to make a decision; I never felt like I was getting a raw deal. When we encountered potential issues, Mike kept calm, did his research, and spoke with his co-workers if he needed to. He went the extra mile to do quality work. Once Mike helped me and my mom decide on my first car, we had to fill out paperwork. The process was relatively quick and stress-free. While it wasn't in and out, I never felt like my time was being wasted. In the end, I got a 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid that's in pristine condition for well under the Blue Book price. I couldn't be more satisfied. I would definitely refer this dealership and specifically Mike Ellis to friends and family. More

Typical Bait and Switch Dealership. Adverstised a low miles Sentra....called and was told it was there....got there 20 minutes later to hear....."Oh, I'm sorry we don't have that car but we have plenty o miles Sentra....called and was told it was there....got there 20 minutes later to hear....."Oh, I'm sorry we don't have that car but we have plenty of higher priced options". Anytime I have gone into this dealership, they are friendly, ask questions about my children's sports and truly make it feel like a family. Additionally, I received a very peronalized and lengthy voicemail from Mike Ellis about our experience there & how he wanted to ensure our satisfaction with Greer Nissan. This sealed it for me, and made me especially glad that I was able to purchase my vehicle from Nissan of Greer. I really enjoy the people who work there, and look forward to seeing their friendly faces when I return for my first oil change! : ) More
