Worst dealer service department experience I have ever had. Service desk person was ok but the department operation needs to be reorganized. I made a 10am appointment for a simple oil change at the “Expre had. Service desk person was ok but the department operation needs to be reorganized. I made a 10am appointment for a simple oil change at the “Express Oil change center. Dropped car off at right around 9:45am. Told it would be 1 to 2 hours. I can go to dozens of other places and get this service in 15-30 minutes without an appointment. I purchased the new car maintenance program so I have to go to a dealer. Almost 2 hours pass and there is my car parked out in front of the oil change department. Thinking it might be done I went in a talked to the service writer only to be told they have not even started the work and he cannot give me any time frame for completing the job. Walking around the lot I ran into the salesman who sold me the car. Told him what is happening and he said why get an appointment if it is meaningless. Exactly!!! He went to the oil change department and told them to do my car next. I had already called my wife to come pick me up since we had numerous things to do and we left. I was called later and was told the car was done. I came back a few hours later and picked it up. No Wash job. No apology. Nothing. This is the third such lousy experience at Epic. Each time I thought it could not get worse and Epic proved me wrong on each occasion. FYI while waiting I talked to 2 other customers and they were having the same crappy experience. I have 1 more service (a recall to install some sort of chip that was not installed when I purchased the car) and that will be my last service appointment at Epic. Although is Epic is closer to my home I will take my business to another dealer in the Sacramento area. FYI The service writer actually told me that all the service writers know how lousy the actual service department is and have complained to management but nothing changes. That is kind of depressing. More
Love the purchase however it has scratches I did not see until I took it home and no one has bothered to contact me back to see if they can fix. Why should I pay to fix in my new purchase.
