I took my Jeep Grand Cherokee in for a transmission service. They told me that the water pump was "gushing coolant" and I needed a new pump and thermostat. They quoted $1100. I told them to just service the transmission, and I would come back for the other. I was charged $500 for the transmission service. After leaving, I went to a mechanic I trust to check out the water pump issue. He asked me and my husband to come look with him. The pump and surrounding area was bone dry. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. I consider this attempted fraud. I gave them 2 stars because the transmission service seems to be doing fine, which was why I went in. I will say, our regular mechanic said it should have been around $300 for a transmission service. He doesn't have the equipment to do a flush or I would have had him do it. I won't be going to Encore again because they lied about a needed repair and overcharged me. More
Scheduled a service date ahead by week and half for a 09:00 AM appointment. Upon arrival at 08:45 AM, service writer asked if I was going to wait - it should take about 1 1/2 hours to diagnose to issue. 09:00 AM appointment. Upon arrival at 08:45 AM, service writer asked if I was going to wait - it should take about 1 1/2 hours to diagnose to issue. I said no, I would come back. Service writer said she would call me. At about 2:00 PM I called the service writer and she stated they were waiting on a service bay to open up to get my vehicle in. I was shocked because I was told it would only take 1 1/2 hours. Very disappointing. At about 3:15 PM, I called the service writer back again and told her I would be picking my vehicle up shortly. It is my opinion, if you make appointment and are expected, service should be given. More
My experience was incredible. The salesman Stephen including the finance rep Blake were both professionally transparent and easy to work with on the entire deal. They worked well with my budget and sent me on with the confidence that I got a great deal. My new vehicle was also nicely detailed and was given a full tank of gas before leaving. Highly recommend this dealership. More
