Free Bagels Don't Excuse Poor Customer Service I brought my 2013 4Runner in for routine service with an appointment and for the second time in a row waited for over two hours. Both times after abou I brought my 2013 4Runner in for routine service with an appointment and for the second time in a row waited for over two hours. Both times after about an 1hr 25 min's I was told my car would be done in about ten minutes and then had to wait another 45min's. Both times I was given different excuses, equipment problem, short staff and too busy. The service advisor didn't seem to care and stated that he had nothing else to say. I left my contact info and was given the service managers card (Stephen Garguilo) and was told he would call me shortly. After 24hr's with no call I called to speak with him and was told he was busy and would call me back shortly, again no call. I bought my 4Runner at this dealership and had a good experience which I was happy to review on this site. Unfortunately they seem to have enough good reviews that they don't seem care if they don't treat a customer respectfully. I am a lifelong Toyota owner and will continue to be one but this dealership has now lost a returning buyer and service customer because their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. Note: These reviews do not post for two weeks after they are submitted so the dealership has a chance to try and rectify the complaint. There was no effort by Huntinton Toyota or their Service Dept. to contact me. I am adding this note as a follow up to confirm that they just don't care if a customer is not happy. Moving forward, I will make every effort to warn friends and associates about my experiences with this dealership in the hopes that they will do business somewhere else. More
Disappointment continues I was very disappointed after dealing with my advisor. I had dropped off my car for a NY State inspection, oil change and to listen for a "noise". I received a call from him yesterday morning explaining he would be changing the oil, doing the inspection, replacing a tire, changing cabin/air filters, a fuel injection service and a wheel alignment. He quoted me a price and I let him know that it would be too much for me. He assured me that he would let me know only what was needed and not to worry because he would be able to save me money here & there. The next call I got was to let me know that the car was ready and when I picked it up, not only was my bill not any less but it was even more than quoted. Most of this was labor charges, which is where you could actually save a customer some cost. On my invoice, it is written that the wheel alignment was at the "owner's request" which is untrue. What's even worse, I have taken my car here for service for a lot less than what was performed and have at least had my interior vacuumed out and not even this was done for me. I could not possibly ever bring my car back to Huntington Toyota for service again after this experience. After Toyota & the service manager email me to solicit my feedback on my experience, no one even responds. More

They had to replace the whole switch. So they ordered it and it was gonna take a day to deliver. In the mean time they had a great concern for my vehicle so it wont catch fire due to any malfunction. They detached the whole door and i was able to to work next day. I came back couple of days later they had everything ready took them minutes to install everything back together. Meanwhile i had some free cookies and coffee in the waiting lounge area. Completely Satisfied with services and Great overall experience. Definitely Recommended """"MIR"""" More
Disappointed I have been bringing my car here for years and have generally been satisfied with the service. I brought my car in yesterday, and there were 3 problems with the service. First issue was that I brought in a coupon for a free alignment and when I looked over the service for the car , I saw that the alignment had not been checked. Second, my radio/cd player needs to be replaced. I was told I would have to pay over $500.00 for a refurbished model and that I would be unable to obtain a new replacement. I went to an audio store and purchased a new Sony unit, that will cost $25.00 more than the price quoted me, including installation. Third, the papers said to contact the manager, Stephen Garguilo, with any problems with the service. I left 2 messages for him today, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, and was told the first time that he was not in yet, and the second time that he was in a meeting. By the end of the day, he still had not called me back. More

Excellent service and great people I bought a brand new car from them in 2012 and have been going to them for all service and maintenance ever since. I did a lot of research on dealers before buying and found Toyota of Huntington with great reviews and in these two and half years of ownership they have lived upto my expectations. I have worked with Kelly Henry and Stephen Garguilo since 2012 and it's been a pleasure to have great people like them to take care of your vehicle. They are very detail oriented and listen very carefully to all your concerns and try to address all your issues. Apart from regular maintenance I have been there for a couple of times for under warranty stuff and it was a breeze to work with Kelly and Stephen. Stephen is the Service Manager now and it's difficult to get hold of him for regular work but he is very accessible to address any concerns if need arises. He's very polite, friendly and has a keen sense of responsibility in providing the best possible service/experience during your visit. Kelly is very professional and knowledgable and will make sure that all concerns are addressed and all issues fixed to your satisfaction. My only complaint for them is they are too far from where I live. It's about 45 minutes drive without traffic. Although there is another toyota dealership only 2 miles from my place but I prefer taking a trip to Toyota of Huntington because I know it's well worth it. I absolutely love my car and I know I can trust them and I'm in good hands. The only advise I can give is they are one of the best people around and you will experience this when you visit them. I wish Kelly and Stephen all the very best and look forward to working with them in future. - Ravi More

I brought my carin front the night before, for a 7 am appt. nothing extraordinary, just an oil change and 100k maintenance check. I also requested shuttle service to pick my car up the next day, as I needed the car by mid afternoon and would not have a way to pick it up. When no one had called by noon, we called to see the status. We were told the mechanic was busy and would have to call back. When no one called an hour later, we called again. He told us what needed to be done (brKes) and that the car would be done that afternoon. At 4:15, we still had no idea when it would be done, and called again. The mechanic said he was "just about to call" and we could come get the car. No mention of the shuttle service I had requested, I had to wait to get a tide, and was now in the middle of rush hour traffic the day before a holiday! No apology, no explanation other than they were "busy." More

I have a 6-year old Prius with less than 50,000. How is it that I have spent more than $2000 during this time. Granted the car broke down once in 2012 but even that fix - which was extensive - was less than what I paid yesterday. It is outrageous. On top of that your crew scratched my car! I will have to look elsewhere for maintenance that I can afford moving forward. More
