I went in on a Saturday AM, told them I had only 2 hours to do this and - Mission Accomplished! This salesman, Charles Meuser, was the best and most efficient I've experienced in all cars I have ever purchased. Originally I had stopped at Toyota to consider trading in my 2007 Camry Hybrid. I did not think that I would wind up buying a new Camry Hybrid. However, due to this salesman's expertise and salesmanship I purchased a new 2010 Camry Hybrid. When I picked up this car Mr. Meuser followed me through every step in demonstating the various car and radio controls, including all the rewuired paperwork. He also inspected my trade in vehicle to insure that I had all my belongings -- I forgot my garage door opener. Also, while involved in the purchase of my new car I observed that all of the dealer's personnel were very helpful and friendly. More

We wanted to trade in our 2006 Rav4 because although it had low mileage (48,000) for a 6 year old car, it was going to require a major investment in maintenance ($2,000+). We went to Huntington Toyota as part of shopping around to see what our options were. Once we explained our situation to Ray, he did everything he could to work with us to create a deal that we was good for us. The car is for my 21-year old daughter who is in her last year at college and holds 2 part-time jobs so she needs something reliable to get around. He took us on 2 test drives until she found the car she preferred that was still within our target budget. She preferred the 4-door Corolla to the Matrix, so that's what we chose. (There were none of the "drive the more expensive car and try to talk them into it" tactics.) I started to say "settled on" but that's not the case. She really likes the car -- it's the first time I've seen her truly comfortable behind the wheel, despite having driven the Rav4 for the past 3 years. Ray worked with us to find a way to stay within our budget. We ended up leasing the car with a monthly payment I can afford. And, much to our suprise, we took the car home on the same day! Needless to say, we are very satisfied with our experience. There was no high presssure, no "have to talk to my manager," just straight-forward discussion and negotiation. We look forward to servicing the car, too, because on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, there is a masseuse, continental breakfast and wi-fi at the Huntington Toyota service facility! Who can beat this? No one! I hope you will let them know what a great job Ray did. Everyone at the dealership was friendly. We were waiting for awhile, and on several separate occasions, the receptionists asked us if were needed assistance. Having shopped for many cars over the years, as 2 women shopping for cars, it is refreshing to not be discriminated against because we did not have a "man" escorting us. It's also pretty cool that my first car in college in the late '70s was a Toyota Tercel. So I guess Toyota is doing a good job, despite some the recalls and some of the technical issues. We're looking forward to an experience with the Corolla that was as good as the one at the Dealership. P.S: I also have a 14-year old daughter so it's not so far into the future when we will likely be needing a car for her . . . More
Leased new Rav 4 at Huntington Toyota and it turned out to be a pleasent experience. Sales staff was very pleasent and friendly; my salesman Charlie made the experience almost painless and very easy. We were greeted by a very courteuos staff upon entry. The reason we were there was to turn in our lease. Our salesperson was extremely helpful and professional. I had the experience of dealing with this dealership twice, as it's the closest one to where we reside. We agreed on a price after the agent made several trips between us and his manager, and then came back finally to say there is no deal !! and the reason is $250 , that his manager agreed to and then changed his mind !! can you believe it ?? anyways, we needed the car badly then , otherwise we would have walked out. We wanted to give them another chance we thought, if we dealt with another agent. First we corresponded with them online, and they sent us price quotes for new models of toyota, and when we visited the dealership and informed them of what we are looking for, and the quotes we got from them online, they just simply they didn't honor their quote. We were given the final price for a certain model 2011. We went to see other dealerships further away in the meantime. in the following few days, we were getting phone calls asking whether we made a decision or not. Until one day, we received one call from one of their agents, asking what did we decide, and the price they gave us, will rise because of Japan Tusnami, and the toyota reducing incentives, etc... I told him ok....and that was the last time, I talked to anyone in that dealership... We went to Westbury toyota. If you want straightforward honest customer service, that's Westbury Toyota. Never felt so at ease, no pressure , no games, gave us all our options for the money we were willing to spend...and the decision came from us with no pressure, very professional ...after all thats what customer service is all about... For those who wrote about the cookies and other stuff...we go there to buy our family car not to eat or drink.. I dont think focusing and rating a dealership based on whether they smile in your face and laugh behind your behind, and offer you cookies for a dollar or 2 a piece, then hit you will all the fees, and play games to get the most out of you once they knew you wanted the car !! tha'ts not professional.. In summary, Huntington Toyota is over rated. I drove much further to see other dealership and that was the fist time I even visited West bury toyota ..but you can tell ..who is the professional from the two I wouldn't recommend Huntington Toyota to anyone who wants a good customer service and a good lasting experience and not just simply looking for small silly things ( offering Cookies or coffee ) and make the recommendation based on that only...
