Q is the reason I purchased my car at Huntington Toyota. I have owned 25 cars during my lifetime but I never found a salesman as friendly or knowledgeable as Q. I just arrived home after securing a lease deal with Dave Schweiter, and I couldn't be happier with the service provided. He was very thorough, friendly, and was very accommodating to my demands. It was the complete opposite experience I was expecting, because I've heard stories about pushy sales reps who try to underhand buyers. Instead, I felt very comfortable doing business with him, told him my budget, what deals I found online, what kind of vehicle I was looking for etc. and he took copious notes and was able to help narrow my options. I felt that he was truly looking out for customers. He found this obscure discount that saved us $1,000, and helped me program my blu tooth, select radio stations, navigation, and helped find insurance too. I hope he gets a raise or something because he spent a good 4+ hours dealing with the paperwork, insurance, different deals, test drive, etc. so I commend him on his customer service. Within 10 min received a phone call asking could we come in tomorrow, said yes, I could come in tomorrow. Was told to ask for Liz Santo. On Tuesday I called the dealer as we were ready to leave, asked for Liz Santo, told her that I did not live around the corner & wanted to clarify that the car was an automatic, as the ad said automatic in one place and manual in another, she said yes it is an automatic, I clarified that we were coming to look at the 2007 Corolla, she said yes. I told her I was leaving and should get to her within 30 min. She said ok. When we pulled in there was no sign of the car we were there to look at. Went to the desk asked for Liz Santo and were told to have a seat. The woman at the desk announced over the pa "any available salesperson to reception" we waited about 10 min before a salesman came over. He said "you are here to look at the 2007 Corolla"? We said yes. He said he would get the keys, came back with a list of vehicles,and told us "Sorry that car has been sold". Then proceeded to see what on the list was comparable, they all were at least $3,000.00 more than what we came to look at, as well as with 10,000-30,000 more miles on them. Typical bait and switch. I can't believe that they would be so dishonest as to tell you to come on over and look at a car that obviously they did not have for sale, it was under 30 min. since we confirmed we were on our way to look at it. I will not buy a car from this dealer now to to their shady practices. More
From the moment we entered the dealership, we were treated warm and openly. Charles was very professional and listened to our needs and wishes. We drove out with our new Camry in less than two hours. In short, it was the best experience we have had in the five Camry's we have purchased since 2000. More
When I went to this dealership, the salesperson Ray approached us. He was very nice and polite. He answered all of our questions, and let us test drive the car. He was great! However once we went inside and had to deal with the manager it went down hill from there. I felt that the manager we dealt with was pushy and was not giving us a fair price, so we left. The next day, someone from their customer service department called me to see why we had not made a purchase, then hung up on me & never got back to me. I really liked the car so I went back in to see it again, and to my surprise they raised the price $2,000! Said they could not honor the previous price given to us. I felt like we were being given the run-around so we left. I wound up getting the same car (with 20,000 less miles) at another dealership for $1,000 less. More
consistantly promised a time frame for repairs only to wait and have the repairs done in twice the length of time. My next car will NOT be a Toyota or I will stop using service here. Ray Nazario was our salesperson and he treated us very well. He gave us a lot of information about the Prius that we were interested in buying, We felt like we could ask any question we wanted and get an well. Especially with the Prius we felt like this was important, it is a hybrid and we have never owned one. He coordinated all the paperwork and details involved in a car buying transaction, time-consuming tasks, unfamiliar to us! He also coordinated details with our insurance agent, which made it very easy for us. We got our brand-new car in just a few days, from the time we signed papers, as promised! Every thing he said was absolutely accurate, there was nothing that changed in the whole transaction. When we got into the driver's seat, he was right there with my husband and I, showing us all the wonderful things about our beautiful new Prius! And he told us to call him any time if we had any questions. We got a great price and very good terms financing our purchase. We were treated very, very well! I could not have asked for a better experience! I have already recommended Ray to all our family members. More
Went to the dealership looking for at one of their used vehicles. After reading very mixed reviews I wasn't sure what to think of the place. I knew I was not buying the car the day I walked in there and to vehicles. After reading very mixed reviews I wasn't sure what to think of the place. I knew I was not buying the car the day I walked in there and told them that (I still had to sell my car). The salesman said "Ok, well you can put a deposit on it so we can hold it for you." The only problem with this was that the salesman told me someone had just put a deposit on the same car a day before and he told me if I wanted to buy the car then and there it was mine and I began thinking to myself if a guy just put a deposit on the car, how is he going to sell it to me? Two scenarios: 1) The salesman lied and there was no person putting a deposit down 2) Some guy put the deposit down, but it meant NOTHING in terms of holding the car. Either way, its a negative scenario. I knew from this point something was wrong. After I sold my car, I called back and said I sold my car, lets talk numbers. After being told "once I sold my car we could negotiate the price," they told me the price was "The lowest price they could do". I said ok bye. Two days later, they called back and we negotiated a little bit to get to about $400 less than what they were asking (which I was willing to pay). The salesman printed out my "out the door" price after taxes and fees. They tried to add $700 in dealer fees and one of them was a "Transportation Fee" for $375. I called them and spoke to the sales manager and said "What are the two fees?" He responded with "$375 is the fees for prepping the car, advertising, etc." I thought to myself, fine no problem every dealer has that. Then he told me the transportation fee was their cost of getting the car to the lot. Only problem was, the car was traded in to that dealer. The old owner drove the car to that lot and dropped it off. No transportation needed except to park it. I told them to remove the fee and I would buy the car, and they told me they couldn't remove it or negotiate it (even thought it said all the dealer fees were negotiable). The sales manager responded by telling me someone else put a deposit on the vehicle and is willing to pay the out the door price with the $700 in fake fees. I told the "Fine, let them pay those BS fees" and hung up the phone. Now you'd think this whole situation was over. However, I then received a call from the salesman who was working with me and he began talking very loudly and with an obnoxious attitude to me, telling me how the cars mine, and the fees are the fees. I told him very specifically, "I am not buying the car from you, you are not getting my business" and I was about to hang up he would always say "Wait" and kept going on for about fifteen minutes. I really didn't want to be rude by hanging up, however after fifteen minutes of him basically begging me to buy their car I told him "I'm hanging up now." Turns out, almost a month later the car is still on their lot, so obviously when he kept telling me "The cars going to go" and that its such a high demand car and that multiple people put deposits on it were all lies to get me to buy the car for the full price with all the fake fees they tack on. I found the exact same car three days later for a better price with a warranty for five years. I'm glad I didn't give them my business as the people I dealt with were liars and trying to get as much profit on the back end of the deal as possible. Never going back and the funny part is, I have a friend who was looking at a used car at this dealership dealt with the same guy, Terrell, and he tried to pull the same exact thing on my friend. He did the exact same thing and walked away. Other salespeople at this dealership might be easier to work with then Terrell, but I had a friend experience the EXACT same lies that Terrell told me. Let me start off by saying that Juan was friendly, professional, and courteous . He approached me with a smile and informed me of all the amenities available to me while I waited. He was reassuring and made me feel confident that I was in very good hands. My Prius was in excellent working order when I left the Huntington Service Facility He should be commended for his professionalism and kindness. There should be more people like Mr Vargas assisting customers. I left satisfied, well manicured, full and confident that when I need to return to Huntington Toyota Service my experience will be equally as satisfying.
