Free Bagels Don't Excuse Poor Customer Service I brought my 2013 4Runner in for routine service with an appointment and for the second time in a row waited for over two hours. Both times after abou I brought my 2013 4Runner in for routine service with an appointment and for the second time in a row waited for over two hours. Both times after about an 1hr 25 min's I was told my car would be done in about ten minutes and then had to wait another 45min's. Both times I was given different excuses, equipment problem, short staff and too busy. The service advisor didn't seem to care and stated that he had nothing else to say. I left my contact info and was given the service managers card (Stephen Garguilo) and was told he would call me shortly. After 24hr's with no call I called to speak with him and was told he was busy and would call me back shortly, again no call. I bought my 4Runner at this dealership and had a good experience which I was happy to review on this site. Unfortunately they seem to have enough good reviews that they don't seem care if they don't treat a customer respectfully. I am a lifelong Toyota owner and will continue to be one but this dealership has now lost a returning buyer and service customer because their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. Note: These reviews do not post for two weeks after they are submitted so the dealership has a chance to try and rectify the complaint. There was no effort by Huntinton Toyota or their Service Dept. to contact me. I am adding this note as a follow up to confirm that they just don't care if a customer is not happy. Moving forward, I will make every effort to warn friends and associates about my experiences with this dealership in the hopes that they will do business somewhere else. More
Disappointment continues I was very disappointed after dealing with my advisor. I had dropped off my car for a NY State inspection, oil change and to listen for a "noise". I received a call from him yesterday morning explaining he would be changing the oil, doing the inspection, replacing a tire, changing cabin/air filters, a fuel injection service and a wheel alignment. He quoted me a price and I let him know that it would be too much for me. He assured me that he would let me know only what was needed and not to worry because he would be able to save me money here & there. The next call I got was to let me know that the car was ready and when I picked it up, not only was my bill not any less but it was even more than quoted. Most of this was labor charges, which is where you could actually save a customer some cost. On my invoice, it is written that the wheel alignment was at the "owner's request" which is untrue. What's even worse, I have taken my car here for service for a lot less than what was performed and have at least had my interior vacuumed out and not even this was done for me. I could not possibly ever bring my car back to Huntington Toyota for service again after this experience. After Toyota & the service manager email me to solicit my feedback on my experience, no one even responds. More

I was little intimidated to go into the dealership by myself because it was my first time purchasing a car without any help from others and I don't know much about a car and how the process is for purchasing. But my salesperson was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient enough to walk through the whole step. I give five star to this dealership and would recommend it to my friend. More

Huntington Toyota did a great job of turning our old leased minivan and to our new Camry in just a few short hours. My wife and I started the day out not knowing what we were going to do as our lease was ending with our Toyota mini van. We just went to look to see what options may have been available and had the pleasure of meeting with Benjie Coopersmith. Benjie sat and listened to our situation assessed our needs and steered us to a Toyota Camry SE. He did not pressure us into anything but worked with us to find something that would fit our current needs for a vehicle. Benjie was very accommodating and made a great deal happen for us between the old lease and our new lease vehicles. His follow up calls after the sale took place was great and he continues to follow up even a month after the purchase. He did not make us feel like we were in a high pressure deal and we felt very comfortable in his approach and gained his trust immediately to lease this new Camry. I am also a sales person and the one thing I look for is the trust and the value of the relatioship and Benjie maintains those great qualities so If you are looking for a new Toyota, I highly recommend Benjie at Huntington Toyota . Charlie was very knowledgeable and patient to answer all of our questions as well as followed up on anything necessary professionally. Not only he explained the various features of the car in details but also shared with us his practical experiences and tips on how to better use the car in an economical manner. Furthermore, Charlie was a very organized person who made the whole process as much smoother as possible to save our time. We had not been under pressure to make any quick decision. Just because of Charlie's superb job, we decided to go back to Huntington Toyota and had Charlie our salesperson again and made a quick decision on the day we visited. Broken promises I bought two used cars a couple of month as ago form Toyota. One had to go back to have the rotors cut and had an oil leak. I had my mechanic put green dye in the engine to detect the leak and Toyota did service the car but I was without a vehicle for a couple of weeks to accomplish this. I was promised a second key for the Corolla and that they would look for the second key for the Rav 4. No one would return my calls on the key issue unless I became a pest. Finally I was told there was no keys and that it would cost $350.00 a key to have them made. I was quite upset since I was promised the key and the customer service rep said she would see what she could do and call me after the weekend. Well it is Thursday and still no call. Obviously this dealership and,possibly Toyota do not make good on their promises. It should not become a full time job to get answers and be treated fairly. I am very disappointed in the way I have been treated and the lack of sympathy I have received. I would recommend taking any used car directly to your mechanic before purchasing and to see the keys before putting down a deposit. More
