I began my car shopping at Empire Hyundai and was promptly greeted by George upon arrival. He took a few moments to get to know me and asked me about the reason for my visit. He immediately began discussing my many options and despite the bitter cold weather, walked me through the enormous lot to physically show me. Before taking (my choice of) the 2011 Hyundai Sonata out for a test drive he thoroughly presented all of the many stock-offered features and was incredibly knowledgable about the vehicle and how it ranked among its peers. There was a lot of technology with the vehicle and he knew much, much more than just the basics, e.g., mpg, engine size, trunk space. I enjoyed listening to his fine points about the many features and how it would relate to and benefit my lifestyle. Unfortunately, I had just begun my search and felt that I needed to do a bit more homework before making my decision, so he was unable to complete a sale that day. He was genuinely concerned that I would visit one of the other (Hyundai) dealers in the area and I assured him that if I indeed decided to purchase (another) Hyundai that it would be with him and this dealership because I felt a great connection with George. He was extremely personable, honest and fair (which sterotypically is not the norm when dealing with auto salespeople -ha!). When all is said and done, had George worked at a neighboring Ford dealership, he would have successfully made a sale the following day. George took the time to follow up with me and ask me how I liked my new vehicle and seemed genuinely happy when I told him how delighted I am with my new Ford Fusion. Although my decision (this time) was not in Hyundai's favor, I had a very enjoyable experience with Empire Hyundai and especially George. I bought my very first brand new car at Empire Hyundai on December 7th and it was an awesome experience from start to finish. Jon was very attentive to what I wanted/needed-- something with 4 doors, the LATC December 7th and it was an awesome experience from start to finish. Jon was very attentive to what I wanted/needed-- something with 4 doors, the LATCH system, and a manual transmission. He was very good with staying within my price range and didn't try to pressure me into anything I didn't want/need. When it came time to really talk numbers, the negotiation went smoothly and I got the price I was looking for. The whole deal took place as my 2 year old was running crazy around the office/dealership, and needless to say Jon had a LOT of patience with us. When all the paperwork was signed they brought my car out front, newly washed and with a full tank of gas. Jon and the girls at the dealership took care of the registration, insurance, all of the stuff that's a pain to deal with, even getting the inspection. It wasn't even just my salesman-- everyone was awesome from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend this dealership to anyone. In fact, I'm bringing my step Mom there next week to find her a new car, and I can't wait until my Fiance's ready for a new car so we can get it at Empire. More
