The service department was excellent from the beginning until I picked up my car. They were knowledgeable. My car is on recall. I received the first notice in late October. I made an appointment, told them it was a recall. When I got there, I was told they did not get the parts yet. Second time I called to make an appointment, thankfully someone told me that they did not have the parts. Last Thursday was my third attempt. When I got to Honda, I was told that they just used the last replacement part. I had a reservation for over a week. They need to order the right amount of parts for people coming in for this issue. This is totally unacceptable. Now, here I am waiting again. I was told I would get a call when the part becomes available. I can't say I can trust that. Now I have to take more time to keep calling almost daily. Even doing that, will there be a part for me when I arrive? Based on all of the above, I don't think so. More
They need to strengthen their customer service skills. There were no customers in the service area. I waited literally 2 1/2 minutes which is a long time before one of them made eye contact with me and gave me a nod to hold on one second. This is the second time I’ve taken my car to Manhasset Honda. The first time was to get an oil change and a tire rotation. After that first time my tires made noise. And it was not driving the same. And don’t get me started on the technician who claimed on the service form that my tires were rotated, but they did not rotate . I marked my tires to tell if they were rotated and they did not do the job. So to be clear, They said they did the job on the form, but they did physically did not. when I addressed this. The technician automatically retracted the fact that they did NOT rotate the tires even though 10 seconds before he said they did. They brought the car back in to do it. Which by the way I was there at the point close to 2.5 hours. This past week I took it in for a wheel alignment Which seemed to fix The problem for now. When I got my car back, my remote starter now does not work and my doors do not lock automatically (like I had them set up) when I walk away from the car with the fob. I believe my settings were changed, and I was not informed. 3 strikes and I’m going to an another dealership. More

Banks is my guy there, always helps me out, works with me on pricing. You guys need more people like him. No xx, & empathetic with the customer.
