Non Trustworthy Sales Staff. Last year, I had the pleasure of purchasing 2 new GM vehicles at Huntington Chevrolet from what I considered to be a gentlemanly sales person. I did Last year, I had the pleasure of purchasing 2 new GM vehicles at Huntington Chevrolet from what I considered to be a gentlemanly sales person. I did not realize at the time how damaged my credit rating was and how hard the finance manager had to work to get me what I considered to be a very good deal, His efforts only served to further my respect for the team. As pleased as I was with the deals I received on the vehicles, I know Chevy was equally happy or they would not have written the deals, let us face facts they are in business to make money and they are entitled to do so. Now to the "PROBLEM !!!". I was thinking of trading in one of the vehicles for a new one with the WiFi system,; All I wanted was a fifteen minute consultation as to what my car was worth and what a new was going to cost. "We can"t do any thing without your SS # ". Please do not run my credit report "We won't do That, you have my word.". Next morning, bright and early, I get a Credit alert email that Huntington Chevrolet ran a credit check. DO NOT EVER GIVE YOUR INFO TO THESE LYING #@%(*&% UNTIL YOU ARE GOING TO DO THE DEAL. I know better but I let my guard down. More
