I purchased a certified pre owned vehicle from a dealer in Jersey (they were the closest that had exactly what i was looking for.) A week into the car - my air conditioner goes - its 90 degrees and humi in Jersey (they were the closest that had exactly what i was looking for.) A week into the car - my air conditioner goes - its 90 degrees and humid. I schedule a service appointment (earliest appointment is a week later) with Robert Chevrolet but forgot to arrange for shuttle service outlined & included as part of GM's certified pre owned warranty. I call and speak to Steve - first question on the Phone: Did you buy the car from us? I did not, then he asks me no? (does it matter? You service the Brand.) Steve tells me THEY CANT SERVCIE THE CAR - its written in the warranty that any problems within the first 30 days MUST go back to dealership you puchased vehicle from. This is an Absolute Lie & not true. I call GM's customer complaint line - the GM rep calls and speaks to Steve - who again asks the rep Why i didnt buy the car there! GM rep asks to speak to a manager & steve says hes there - but then hes not available. GM said they will try again tomorrow to resolve this issue & apologiezed for horrible 1st weeks experience with the brand and service - and offered an embarrassed welcome. Unscrupulous dealers like Robert Chevrolet are a major liability to GM Brand. More
WOW! what can I say there is so much to say. First off out of the 15 + times I spoke with the dealership by phone I called every time except the last phone call the dealer called to ask if I am still buyi out of the 15 + times I spoke with the dealership by phone I called every time except the last phone call the dealer called to ask if I am still buying the car. When I picked up my used car I didn't see the rusty battery positive cable, nor did I notice the water that came into the car from the winshield when ever I brought it to A car wash. Now I have to take another day off drop the car off at the service dept. so they can see where the water is coming in from. Get this the mentioned that when I drop it off that I might have to put a claim with my insurance company so I will be covered for a NEW winshield and gasgets. I will never go back nor will I recommend this dealership. Do your home work and make sure the dealership you do go to has some positive ratings. Unhappy Consumer! More
