Decided to go with them. Shea Lopez, the salesman, was amazing. In addition, they helped us find a solution on our lease turn-in that avoided us having to pay any over mileage fees, new tires, or disposition fee - rather than turn the lease back to US Bank, we actually purchased it outright (through the dealer, using a 3rd party lender) and then immediately traded it in - saving us $2,000 because the trade-in value was so strong, as oppose to what we would have paid in mileage fees, etc. It was awesome. The Enclave is amazing, it's black metallic with chocolate/cappuccino colored interior. Feels much more luxurious than the Acadia did even with the Denali package (even though they're basically the same exact truck). Our salesman, Shea Lopez, and the manager, Jerry Cox, were more than helpful through the whole process. From the moment we walked in with two sort-of loud toddlers, they made us feel right at home and even played around with the kids. It was great. Fast forward 5 months later ... my leased Cadillac SRX was coming due. GM was offering early pull-ahead, so I immediately thought to go straight to Shea again. This time, I ended up leasing a beautiful 2015 GMC Sierra pickup, fully loaded, 22" wheels leather navigation heated seats bedliner and all, at a ridiculously low price. Yes, I did shop around - made a few calls and received much higher quotes. Another seamless auto buying experience, they had the truck detailed and ready within a day or so. Shea Lopez is highly recommended. I've already given his name to a bunch of friends. Give him a shout, you won't be disappointed. More

The goal was to find the safest 3 row vehicle which also provided comfort, style and some driving satisfaction. I test drove an Audi Q7, Infiniti QX60, Acura MDX, Volvo XC-90, Honda Pilot, Ford Explorer, the Toyota Highlander and the Enclave. My favorite car to drive of all those was without a doubt the xc-90...it handles nicely and you're connected to the road. But my wife likes to ride higher, and the xc-90 isn't so roomy so that was out. The Audi Q7 seduced us with the Panoramic Moon Roof which is unreal, but so is the price point - goodbye Audi. The Explorer was the "Borer" to drive and ride in, plus the dealership I went to in NJ played too many old school games of back & forth with the manager for my taste and made me wait way too long. No Ford. The Honda Pilot is bigger than the Explorer & somehow more enjoyable inside, but it's also a little more bare bones (the leather doesn't seem like real leather, it's not as comfortable & not as much tech as the Buick/Acura/Infiniti) & a similar dealer experience to Ford so it too was eliminated. As far as dealer experiences go, we had a good experience with Toyota in Manhattan & Wappinger Fallls & the Acura Dealer in Woodside was fantastic. The Toyota fell out because the syn-tech leather felt cheap, plus the Highlander was our previous car - we wanted something new. For us, it came down to the Acura, Infiniti & Buick. The Acura is an awesome car, but the suspension is so sensitive and floaty, it actually made my wife nauseous. The Infiniti is almost on par with the Acura, not quite as sweet to drive (it didn't make me nauseous), but it's a little roomier, though a bit more expensive. I didn't find the Infiniti Dealer in Manhattan (which is closing) as easy to work with as Acura in Woodside Queens- (Infiniti is slightly more expensive than the Buick & Acura) so...we had targeted the Infiniti and went to White Plains, a place called Pepe Infiniti which has a lot of inventory, where we thought we'd find a cheaper price. It just so happens that there's a Buick Pontiac dealer next door, and we traveled over there where we found Ed. Ed was a pleasure to work with, not pushy, very knowledgable and just matter of fact about the cost of the car & the discounts we could get. On the floor was a beautiful Enclave with just the right amount of tech and without the Entertainment system that we don't need or want. He could tell my wife an had an immediate thing for that Enclave, so I think we were on the hook from the get go with him, but we were able to negotiate the price of the car & increase the price of our trade in so we ended up with a great deal and felt good about the whole process. I highly recommend both this dealership and Ed specifically. Honestly, with the Infiniti, it felt like we were settling...getting an almost Acura for more money. With the Buick, it hits all of our sweet spots - safe, drives smoothly, roomy 2nd & 3rd row with cargo room & intelligent tech integration. The Buick we've had for only a week, so I can't really comment on driving it for a long period of time, but so far we love it. It's more spacious than the Acura, cheaper than the Infiniti and a very comparable driving experience to both. It's also rated the safest of any of the cars I mentioned, which was why we wanted a new car in the first place. Buick is a player. More

After some negotiating, we received a fair amount for our trade-in, and were able to negotiate a fair price for our new vehicle. When I arrived two days later to pick the car up, Willie had everything in order. No hidden fees, double-talk, or other tactics. The vehicle received a lenghty pre-delivery inspection and detailing. I checked the invoice and it seems that this isn't something that is hidden in the bill; GMC White Plains ensures customer satisfaction. We traveled about an hour and a half from Long Island to purchase this vehicle, so we were hoping that we wouldn't be "taken for a ride" and end up empty-handed. I can't say enough about this dealership. The process was smooth and I was very satisfied. Thank you for a great car and a great experience! More
The first thing I did was asked them to confirm the specific car I wanted was available. They checked the system and confirmed. I jumped in my car and drove over an hour each way to see the car. When specific car I wanted was available. They checked the system and confirmed. I jumped in my car and drove over an hour each way to see the car. When I got there they told me it sold the day before. This is the very definition of sleazy sales tactics to get boots through the door. Do you need to know anything else about this dealership? Do yourself a favor and steer clear. More

We searched for over a month , visited many dealers , varying brands, and felt that White Plains Buick and Ed Herman were the most " real " dealership. By that I mean, if Ed did not know an answer, he sa varying brands, and felt that White Plains Buick and Ed Herman were the most " real " dealership. By that I mean, if Ed did not know an answer, he said so. If he did not have a product to offer, he said so.....no pressure.....just trying to find what made us happiest. Thank you Ed and White Plains Buick - we love our 2103 Enclave dressed in red! More
Avoid this place's service center. The sales tactics that are employed are downright unethical and unprofessional. Save time, money and aggravation and go somewhere else. are employed are downright unethical and unprofessional. Save time, money and aggravation and go somewhere else. More
Poor quality service work, deceptive sales tactics, and lack of ethics make this place undeserving of any stars, if that were an option. If you are looking for an honest quote on auto work to be done, this lack of ethics make this place undeserving of any stars, if that were an option. If you are looking for an honest quote on auto work to be done, this is not the place. Unless your vehicle is still covered by warranty, avoid White Plains GMC- they will definitely try to rip you off, particularly if they think you do not know anything about cars. Save the time and hassle, and take your vehicle elsewhere for service. More
