Initially I was pleased with the buying experience other than it took a little longer considering I paid cash for the vehicle. Nonetheless the experience was fine. The truck had a few issues with it but all were addressed before I left the lot. The next day one of the issues returned. Although the vehicle was sold “As Is”, I contacted sales manager David Carver and he told me to bring it back in and they would correct the issue. A second attempt was made to correct the problem but with no fault of Emmons's Motors, the person hired to correct the issues just tried to put a Band-Aid on it and made the matter worse. I then made a phone call to David and told him what had occurred. He told me to have it fixed and he would have me re-reimbursed. That’s exactly what happened. Emmons's did exactly what they had to do to satisfy this customer. I will keep them in mind for my next vehicle. Emmons Motors is truly rare, reputable car dealer. Congrats to the owners and staff of this company. More

Meaning, that should you leave the lot and total the vehicle, the insurance company is only going to give you enough to cover the true value of it and you will be outta that $5000-$8000, plus, will need to come up with another down payment to get another vehicle. Best outcome possible for a crappy day of car shopping After a full day of being scammed by scheming xxxxxxxx, and test-driving dangerous cars on their last sputtering leg, we decided to stop at one last l After a full day of being scammed by scheming xxxxxxxx, and test-driving dangerous cars on their last sputtering leg, we decided to stop at one last lot before calling it a night. Best.Call.Ever. Benjammin was eager, but not overly so. He was helpful without hovering. We later found out we would be his first sale I had been burning the internet checking CarFax and AutoCheck, as well as review sites for both cars and dealers. It had been an incredibly long and frustrating day. Thankfully our experience went well. We had researched cars for a couple of days, so we knew what we were interested in. We had saved up cash, so we were able to make a significant down payment. My son's credit was non-existent, but with me co-signing, we were able to get the financing he needed. It is a no-haggle zone, but the cars are priced right where they should be (per Kelley Blue Book, CarFax, AutoCheck, and other valuation sites). It isn't a fancy car. It isn't a sports car. But it is the car we need. It is what my son needs. And it was priced right. The loan process took awhile, but we were there late. Fortunately I could get the car added to our insurance over the phone. If you are prepared and know what to expect, the car-buying experience doesn't have to suck. Thankfully, after a day of otherwise sucky dealer and scary test-driving experiences; Benjammin and the staff at Emmons helped us end the day right. Thanks! We are happy with our purchase! More

New Update: Emmons Motor Company fixed the vehicle for free for me. They didn't have to but because they stand behind their vehicles, they took care of everything for me. Would buy from again. Orig free for me. They didn't have to but because they stand behind their vehicles, they took care of everything for me. Would buy from again. Original Post: Before I even got home I had 3 warning lights on. I took it to my trusted mechanic and he said it was going to be expensive to repair. I immediately went back and they said they would fix the vehicle because they don't sell LEMONS. Well... they looked at the vehicle and said the anti-lock brake system needed to be repaired amongst other things and the total cost was $2400!!! My trusted mechanic said there is no way it should have passed the state inspection it had the day I bought it. EMMONS told me they would not fix the vehicle because the brakes are not a safety related part of the vehicle. The brakes are not safety related?! That is madness!!! More
Saw a car advertised on their website and emailed to enquire what the best price they could do was. "Come have a look at it first, then we'll talk about the price." Did so and the car checked out just f enquire what the best price they could do was. "Come have a look at it first, then we'll talk about the price." Did so and the car checked out just fine. So, the price? "It's gone up $1500 as we've only just noticed that it's got leather upholstery." Erm... but there's photo's of the car on your website showing leather upholstery and you list this as being a feature. "Yeah, tough!" Maybe I'm not used to the way American dealerships operate, but that seems like a very dodgy practice to me. I'd have been upset enough if they'd told me that by email (false advertising and all that), but to drag me down to the dealership was really bad. I voiced my frustration to them, but they weren't interested. Not a good experience and I will never consider using their services in the future. More
