David, After going over the correspondence and speaking directly with Donny and Greg, I have some feedback for you. Initially, we waited about 45 minutes for your son to bring in the older high mileage BMW you wanted an appraisal on. From that point, we were another 45 minutes away from giving you the offer due to peak hours and others in front of you. One of the managers was only trying to expedite your wait time and retrieved the appraisal $2000 from the KBB rep we have on-site. While walking by, he simply help up 2 fingers to Donny and stated, "$2000 dollars." There was no disrespect shown but rather transparency as you were standing there with Donny. According to my notes, we were only off $1000 as you mentioned you would take $3000. As I have stated, it was an older BMW with over 100K miles that generally are problematic. According to my notes, yours was no exception. Nevertheless, you said you would take it and sell on your own and that was that. On 4/15 at 9:14 PM, you respectfully emailed Greg Guiles, the GM, about speaking to him privately when you return the next day. You left your phone number in the event he wanted to reach out before hand. Now, it was late at night so that only gave him until 2:43 PM the next day on 4/16 when you arrived to respond. He stated he did not respond by phone or email because he was taking your email at face value and would speak to you when you came in. Personally and publicly, this is not the path I would have chosen after receiving your email. Nevertheless, when you were here on 4/16, you and Greg did not connect. You did not request to speak to Greg while you were here. It was after Greg learned you were here picking up the Mercedes and he missed the opportunity to sit down with you that he started sending the emails and calls to you to connect. Your exact response then was, "Ppfff you gotta be kidding ... " Although I am happy you chose our Mercedes to purchase, the value to me in a successful transaction is a great experience. I believe Donny gave you that and hope you will reconsider Emmons Autoplex and Donny the next time you are in the market for a vehicle. Terry , Unfortunately you have some inaccurate information 1. FALSE , There was NO 45 minute wait for my son to bring the car as I was there , my son and the BMW , I'm not sure where you got this information from ?? 2. The person walking by throwing up 2 fingers not knowing I was the customer was certainly disrespectful and I'm actually offended you would defend this . This is my OPINION as a customer so you stating otherwise is pretty narrow minded . 3 NEVER did Greg try to get in contact with me until after I made the purchase and submitted a survey 4 My "Ppfff you gotta be kidding ... " response/email was yesterday 4/23 after Greg sent some automated email . This email was certainly not an attempt to resolve my issue but merely an automated generic Your response was even more offensive today as it seems you have tried to justify each of my concerns rather to provide a solution or corrective actions you or dealership has taken to correct issues going forward . I will NEVER buy another car nor recommend your dealership to anyone as your values are not around the customer .... Have a good day :)
