I bought a slightly used Toyota Tacoma from Emich (my first mistake). One of my 1st issues is I couldn’t get my phone to connect to the CarPlay I mentioned this only to get a response of we’re not Toyota first mistake). I haven’t ever had a newer car I did not know you simply needed to link it with the cord not wirelessly a simple show me what you’re doing could’ve fixed this. The first day I own the car I go to put it in 4- wheel drive to pull out of a parking space make it two right hand turns away only to have the front differential fail in a catastrophic fashion still under Toyota warranty and the extended warranty that I bought; both warranties would not cover this due to the catastrophic nature of the failure. Emich did give me a loaner and then proceeded to take my truck to another Toyota dealer ( since they’re not Toyota specialists) to see what they say (without asking or informing me) They confirmed that something was done to the vehicle and it was not a warranty issue. Emich then, Wade, I recall in particular called me to give me the news now since I personally had done nothing to cause this they were going to fix it but not before not so subtlety insisting that, and I quote, “we need to make sure this doesn’t happen again” excuse me? You sold me a broken car and you’re going heavily imply, xxxx near accuse me of damaging it. Well they fixed it at their shop (since when it suits them they can be Toyota specialists) and I get it back. However since ‘we’ need to make sure this doesn’t happen again I suggested that they get a Toyota specialist to come teach me how my 4- wheel drive system works to insure there are no further issues. I have not, since this happened, used my 4- wheel drive system because Emich thought this to be a good idea. Have they followed up to arrange this NO! have they talked to me since; again NO! So my experience at Emich has sullied all car salesman in my eyes to criminals only interested in selling a car, I had no continuity of any one individual to speak with. There was no apology for any of this. My time my inconvenience nothing. I was talked down to told that I simply didn’t understand how 4- wheel drive works then when it became apparent that there was a catastrophic issue accused of causing it. At this point I wouldn’t trust any of them. Wade if you’d like to attempt to make this right I’d open with an apology. Perhaps this will get some response, however I won’t be holding my breath. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had!!!! More

After finding the car I was interested in online, I was able to set up an appointment and test drive (and purchase) my new vehicle. No sales pitches, no trying to upsell from what I came in for. Everyone is so helpful and friendly! From the salesmen to the service people. When I dropped off my car for an oil change, they immediately had the driver bring me work. To say that this was a horrible experience would be an understatement. I started shopping for a VW early last week and began that process online. Searched local inventories and found a car I liked at Emich VW Boulder. So I input my information to be contacted. I get a call from a salesperson and I explain my situation. I was laid off for a period during COVID and had some credit challenges. Recently, I paid off all of those debts and was now in the market for a new car with a substantial down payment. I said I didn’t even want to discuss cars or anything until I knew I was approved. I filled out the credit app online, unlocked my bureaus, and waited. An hour later, I’m told everything is good to go so we start talking vehicles. We started this process on Tuesday. On Thursday, they started low-balling my trade by $2k from what their own website promised me and told me I needed to bring the car in for an evaluation. So I come in Saturday, fully expecting to walk out with my new car. When I walked in, I knew it was going to be a bad experience. I could feel it. It felt like I was walking into a HS locker room. A bunch of 20-something employees milling about like sharks waiting for prey. I loved the inappropriate jokes being told. And the grating rave music blasting from a single wireless speaker in the middle of the showroom floor. I looked past all that because I was excited. The day had come. I was getting my first electric car. Or so I thought. Cue the needle scratching across the record. They start evaluating my trade and that takes 30 minutes. Then, she comes back and he is sticking with his original crap figure for the trade. I should have walked out right there and salvaged my Saturday. But she had an offer sheet with payments where I wanted to be so I stuck around. I countered and he came up $300. So I accepted. We shook and I thought great, let’s start unloading stuff from my trade. This is where things get really ugly. Salesperson disappears for 45 minutes. I’m milling around listening to locker room jokes and having a panic attack because of the loud dance music blaring. Salesperson reappears and has bad news. I’m NOT approved. The first thing I said when we started this process 4 days earlier. I’m shuffled into the “manager’s” office. We then spend the next 3 hours while he learned how to input deals into the system for approval. My confidence in this getting done was dwindling. After 3 hours, I’m told I have to wait until Monday when the New Car Manager is in so he can structure the deal properly. Awesome. Well, here we are, noon on Monday. Have I heard from anyone? Nope. So, once again, they disrespect my time and me by not doing what they said they would. An absolutely horrible experience from start to finish. Needless to say, if you like frat boy humor, grating music, having your CB pulled 13 times in a day, and being jerked around, Emich is the place for you! More
