Worst treatment in a service center I've ever experienced. I bought a brand new Kia K5. Three weeks ago from Emich Kia. It was beyond difficult to set up the appointment they do not answer their experienced. I bought a brand new Kia K5. Three weeks ago from Emich Kia. It was beyond difficult to set up the appointment they do not answer their phone in the service department when you call emich Kia if you press one for sales you'll get a human on the first or second ring if you press two for service it'll ring and ring and ring and eventually go to their message machine and you leave a message and then pretty soon you'll get a text from someone in the service department explaining to you that it's better if we text you and not talk in person. Then you have to go online and set up you have to select you have to go online and set up your own appointment through their computer system it's terrible you can't talk to a human and say hey I'd like the 2:00 or you got anything open around 8:00 or 9:00. Then I was quoted a certain price for the parts I was purchasing splash guards for my new Kia K5 and they quoted a price that was way higher than the other Kia dealerships in town and the only reason I agreed to do this is because I was starting a new relationship with a new Kia place and I thought you know I want to show them loyalty and and they'll take care of me I'll take care of them. Then I was quoted a certain amount for the entire deal splash guards are small easy to put on they take out three to five minutes there's three screws for each little splash guard and there's four splash guards. It's a simple job it takes just literally a few minutes for each wheel well. They were going to charge me an hour and a half labor for something that takes about 20 minutes so when I got there the price of the parts were way more than expected and the price for the labor was outrageous they said it would be $300 when I got there they said it was going to be $505. They were charging me $200 an hour labor and they said it was going to be an hour and a half that's $300 for labor to put on these tiny little splash guards it takes less time to do this than a dust to change your oil it's nowhere near an hour and a half they were trying to cheat me out of $505 for four tiny little plastic splash guards. Needless to say I refused that's not what they quoted me they were trying to charge me over $200 more than they quoted me and the first quote that they said when they're in the text message was $300 which I thought was way too high anyway I was being ripped off for the price of the parts and I was being ripped off on the labor and I was being ripped off on the time of the labor it was a total scam I couldn't believe it when they sell you the car they told you how much they're going to take care of you and they're going to make everything really you know a wonderful place you're one stop shopping get all your service needs done they're going to take great care of you and that's not what happened not at all I never felt so bad when I left a dealership and I did today it was horrible so needless to say when I got home I immediately called the Kia Corporation and filed a complaint and you know this is it was a horrible service were service I've ever gotten at a dealership I couldn't believe it and I actually ordered the parts at another Kia dealership across town and the parts were only $62 for the front and $62 for the back and Emich Kia was charging me $89 for the front and $89 for the back the whole thing was a rip off all the way around. If service after the sale is important to you I would not recommend Emich Kia, I felt really bad when I left the dealership I was trying to be scammed from the beginning to the end. Save yourself the trouble go somewhere else More
What can I say about Jenn? Walking into the service department with Jennifer behind the desk is comparable to the happiness one gets from not having seen a friend for awhile. She’s always uplifting, always smiling and always goes out of her way to ensure that she understands your car problems. The service line can be 5 people deep, but Jennifer makes sure that every client is taken cared of and never rush the process. I have only owned my Telluride since July 2024 and the service department does not disappoint, thanks for Jenn. And truly the service department is most important relationship when purchasing a car. I have been in the dealership several times since my purchase and the salesman that sold me the car doesn’t recognize me. A+ for the exceptional service department at EMICH. More

The dealership promotes a loaner car program on its website, but I was told that there were 11 other people requiring loaners ahead of me when I dropped the car off and I still have no loaner car as of today, 2.5 weeks later. The communication regarding my car has been extremely poor. I get a single text message about every 3-4 days telling me that they are working wth Kia tech to get approval to do the necessary repairs on my car. It took 16 days to get approval to take the battery out, but no one has explained to me why it took 16 days to get this approval and I still don't know what's wrong with the car or when I'll get it back. Efforts to talk with the service manager to answer some of these questions and to request a loaner car or a car rental subsidized by the dealership were met with derision rather than understanding, and the whole experience has led me to feel like once Emich Kia sells you a $40,000+ item they don't value your return business. I will certainly not be purchasing my next car from this dealership after this experience. More

I was very pleased with my buying experience, in fact I left a 5 star positive review that very day. However, when I made the purchase I was informed that there was a recall on part of my car and that I w left a 5 star positive review that very day. However, when I made the purchase I was informed that there was a recall on part of my car and that I would need to bring it been in for the recall work. I asked how long it would take and they told me about 1.5 hours. I had to take the day off work for this service but also had a separate appointment for later in the day. I called ahead but no reply but I was able to get ahold of them through text, I which I double checked that my car would be done in time for me to make it to my appointment. They told me to allow up to 2 hours "to be safe". So I had them move my recall service to one hour earlier to be safe. Anyway I'm sitting here now at the dealership and it's been 2.5 hours and they told me it will be another 40 minutes so I am going to be late for my next appointment which really isn't cool considering I specifically called/texted ahead and was reassured it would be done in time. I'm not thrilled I had to drive an hour here after buying a new car in the first place (why would they not have fixed the problem before selling it to me?) But now I am really frustrated and my positive buying experience has been tainted by this poor communication from the service department. More
They weren't knowable enough about their own product line to know a hitch for a 2022 Telluride would not fit on a 2023. Wasted half a day dropping off/picking up a car they couldn't work on. After an unsatisfactory, drawn-out experience at a different Kia dealership—and reading their bad reviews on this site—I decided (luckily before work was started) to have my Soul towed from there to E different Kia dealership—and reading their bad reviews on this site—I decided (luckily before work was started) to have my Soul towed from there to Emich Kia, and what a relief! The Emich service department was instantly responsive and accommodating, including advising me that I could have my car towed free of charge using Kia Roadside Assistance. The next morning I was told the results of the diagnostic, that repairs were covered by warranty, and I would be given a loaner later that day. Jennifer, the service advisor, is a ROCK STAR!! She is absolutely the best service advisor I’ve ever dealt with. EVER. On a different issue, I was also very happy with Emich’s parts department. Soon I will be moving across town, but will still bring my car to Emich for service. More
Colt Emich, manager and I assume a ownership family member is the very worst. Won't ever go back to Emich Kia for service, parts or a subsequent auto purchase. Purchased an overpriced scratch paint repair pen from Emich Kia. At the time, the parts desk said that these unique pens probably have a useable life span of a couple of months even though they probably sit on the distributors shelf for that long or longer. When I tried a pen that they ordered it did not work and I tried returning it to Emich Kia a few days later. But Emich Kia and Colt Emich does clearly does not stand by what it sells. What should have been a simple return transaction for a customer that has a $50,000 Telluride went south. Colt Emich arrogantly suggested that he could not absorb the cost of the return nor showed any willingness to return it to Kia. The paint was watery, translucent and could cover a 1" by 1/32" trivial scratch. For a business owner/manager to suggest that regardless of their products failure, I should accept the cost of the failure is a sign of a business and owner/manager that should be out of business. I would not trust Kia Emich given Colt Emich's lack of regard for customer service, his arrogant style and the low likelihood that you can confidently trust them with your car. More
