Professional vs. Not so much I was referred to see Mike Leubbers at Emich Chevrolet in December of 2013. It was my first time doing business on my own through a dealership. I was I was referred to see Mike Leubbers at Emich Chevrolet in December of 2013. It was my first time doing business on my own through a dealership. I was told if Mike couldn't put me in what I wanted no one in the city could. Although the process took long (as they usually do) it was an extremely professional experience. I never felt like I was being taken advantage of at any time. I was able to get exactly what I wanted and walked out leasing a 2014 Malibu. With my lease winding down in January 2017, I received a text to come in to discuss my options on Tuesday October 18, 2016. I was advised Mike was unavailable that day so my brother and I spoke with Christina A'R Middleton to go over my options. Christina advised me of what my options were in "laymans" terms. My brother and I discussed my options and decided to buy out the lease. We were introduced to Josh (Sales Manager) and Geoff in financing. Josh said there would be a 21 day grace period so my downpayment of $700 would be due by November 8th. I said I will need a 3 day extension as my next pay date will be Nov 11. He said speak with Financing to set that up. Once I met with Geoff, I told him the same thing. He said just be sure to call a day or two prior and speak with a sales manager to make sure the extension is in place. I called Tuesday November 1, left a message for Josh. He returned my call and said I needed to contact the bank regarding the payment. I proceeded to do so. The bank said they returned the account because the didn't have the necessary "paperwork" to proceed with financing. I called, left a message for Geoff, didn't receive a returned call. I called on Wednesday November 2 to speak with Josh, I was advised it was his off day he should be in on Thursday November 3 by 11am. I called around 11:15, he was "running late". We finally spoke around 1pm, I let him know what the bank said and he proceeded to start an argument, stating," I already told you that you need to contact the bank, we (the dealership) have already done our part. We have nothing to do with that at this point That is between you and the bank. I said they don't have an account for me." This back and forth went on for about 5-7 minutes. (Not so professional) Finally, I said, "Josh, let me apologize and start over so we can get a clear understanding, when I was in on October 18th, you and Geoff said if I call a few days prior to the due date for the down payment it should be fine to get a 3 day extension. I'm doing my part to ensure you all receive the payment as I need a vehicle." Once he calmed down he said, "Ohh, you talking about your downpayment, yes I can move that date for you. I'll call you back once this is done" Today (November 7th), I still didn't receive a call but I did receive a text from Christina that the bank hasn't received the employment verification from my employer and if they don't receive the signatures today they are going to lose financing. I called my Human Resource department to find out when they received the paperwork, they said today (why wait until the last minute to let me know) and they have until the end of business to return it. I called Christina to let her know that information and that Josh still hasn't called me back from Thursday to let me know if the date has been moved to Friday, November 11th. Funny, as soon as I got off the phone with Christina, Josh called to find out what I wanted to discuss with him. I said, "I just wanted to make sure you were able to move my..." He cut me off, "Yeah, I moved your date to the 11th, it's done." I said, "Josh, if you could let me finish that would be nice, as I was saying, I just wanted to be sure it was done because you didn't call back to let me know." "Oh, well yes it is." Will I be back? Yes, if I don't have to deal with Josh and the unprofessionalism. I find it quite absurd to argue with a customer when I was only trying to ensure the deal was complete in the first place. More

From the moment Phil started helping us in our car buying experience, he was personable, professional, and very helpful. Phil made sure we were comfortable the entire time, and explained everything. Although we did end up making a purchase, there was absolutely no pressure, obligation, or gimmicks from Phil or the entire Emich team. We love our new Avalanche...Thanks, Phil!!! More

With my safety in mind Christina had the dealership replace the cracked windshield. While my truck was at the dealership to replace the cracked windshield I elected to have a Linex bed liner installed. Having only had the vehicle for only two days I expected to get it back in the same condition I dropped it off in. Detailed from the purchase. Wrong, there was a mess all over the dash, and carpet from the removal and install of the windshield. There also was dirty foot prints all over the light grey sill plates where I assume the folks at Linex stepped all over and didn't clean while they were in the process of spraying the bed liner. So, if you have extra stuff done , check your car before you leave unlike what I did. More
