New Car Purchase My experience was great up until I received a communication from Hyundai Finance telling me my first payment was due on Oct 1,2017, when in fact I clo My experience was great up until I received a communication from Hyundai Finance telling me my first payment was due on Oct 1,2017, when in fact I closed on the car Oct 30th, When I called Hyundai Finance to tell them of this situation, the lady could only say this was a misprint. She also said my prior account on the car I traded in (2015 Elantra) was still active and open as of today Nov 15th. I told her to call the Elyria Dealership to verify this and she told me they can't make outside calls which I thought was ridiculous. I then called Bill my sales person, who I have been dealing with for a number of yrs. He checked and said I only owed on the new Elantra period and that he would call Hyundai Finance. I also sent an email to Hyundai Finance and explained to them the same story and have not received a response. I have had 6 or 7 cars financed through Hyundai Finance and have never been late on any payments and I hope this doesn't do any damage to my credit. More
