Hi James, I appreciate your concern to discuss this but I really don't know what will be accomplished with this meeting. My friend Todd who referred my to Elmwood was in there yesterday and apparently he texted me that your staff was yelling and he maintained his composure unlike Elmwood. Tood has not been feeling well yesterday and today so I have not bothered him to find out what actually happened when he went in. He was very concerned because he was the one that referred me to Elmwood. My career has been in sales and I provide consultative sales for financial service software with sales ranging from $100K to $5 million and I could not have survived had I not been upfront and communicate with my clients. I was unemployed in my industry for 15 months by choice, as I did not like the industry I was working with so I knew my credit situation when I walked into Elmwood and knew that I would definitely pay a high interest if I wanted the financing. What I did not expect was the very lack of communication and seemingly underhanded things that took place. Do you know when I asked for my copy of things that I signed, I was told oh you'll get a copy, they have to go to the finance company and they will provide them. Who ever heard of that? You sign a contract and you get a copy right there. I was provided with a receipt for my cash deposit that was it. I can't stress enough about clear communication! Open communication would have made the transaction much easier! Also Elmwood verifying their paperwork and have proper dates would help! So what is it that you would like to accomplish with a meeting? Obviously, I certainly don't need to be berated and yelled at like Todd was. At this point, even though Elmwood was supposed to have an inspection sticker on my vehicle as they sold it as used, I am not even interested in returning to the dealership to obtain the required sticker.

I want this meeting to establish closure. I report directly to the "Owner Principal". My job is to ensure 'customer satisfaction' is always job #1. We are so aware of the stigma most have towards car dealerships. The Auto industry is the 2nd biggest purchase any individual can make with a true repetitive nature. Our meeting will involve you and I. I can arrange to have another "Senior Manager" there if you wish?

James, I am not sure that my time is worth a visit back to Elmwood so that you can have closure. As far as I am concerned the process is closed. Barring a check for $600 for the Lojack that was rammed down my throat, I don't think there is anything that would make it worth my time to return. I do understand and at least appreciate your attempt to make things better. The only way an organization can improve is to find out what went wrong, how the customer viewed the transaction and work to make the changes internally.

This has been an ordeal. I need to know why. If this has truly been as disconcerting as you state. You and I meeting will solve quite a bit, and right a wrong.

This is unfortunate. The senior family has a great history with us. We extended far and above any other dealership to not only please EJF0264, but a way of telling the senior family thanks you for all the pleasant business in the past. Mr. EJF0264 was given a conditional approval (which he knew documents were needed, and voice verifications had to take place). He was explained LOJACK, and chose to accept to lower insurance cost. The signature on the purchase agreement shows that! They are correct about the registration being late, but probably forgot to mention the inability to pay till July 22, 2012, and him not getting reciept here in a timely manner. We compensated the state for the late fee. Federal law prohibits us (dealership) to speak of a customer's financial situation with anyone other than that customer. We did not/nor will we review EJF0264 agreement with friends.

Wow, more erroneous information provided in thier review! First I must apologize to Al Khoury as he went above and beyond in the transaction and unfortunately got caught in the middle of a dishonest F&I individual. As was stated in their response, I was NOT told or presented with the LoJack option, it just happen to appear on my contract when I went in to sign. I NEVER met with the F&I guy that added this to the contract unbeknownst to Al also. Al thought I was aware and that Vin had discussed with me, false assumption. Next, I never requested that the registration be held. Al said they would hold it and register in a couple of weeks I was fine since they put on a temporary plate. The funds from the insurance company on my totaled vehicle were there to cover everything. So unfortunately, I am dissappointed that the story they are providing is false! I would recommend if you do visit, please work with Al as he really was an advocate for me and I only realized after he was also unaware of the lack of communication from F&I. While I love my vehicle, the transaction was bitter sweet. They did reimburse for THEIR error on the taxes which did show their attempt to resolve the issue with me. Thank you Al for going to bat!! My hope is that they become a better organization by not tolerating bad behavior from any one individual that can tarnish the reputation of the dealership and so many other people that put communication and transparency in the transaction as the first priority!
