I was referred to Elmwood by a close friend who had just purchased a car. From the first time I walked and met all of the friendly staff until I returned to pick up the plates from when it was registered, purchased a car. My wife and I were looking for a used vehicle for her. Our current vehicle was older and due for replacement. As we pulled up and got out of our vehicle, Sherman Jones met us outside, introduced himself, Our current vehicle was older and due for replacement. As we pulled up and got out of our vehicle, Sherman Jones met us outside, introduced himself, and asked what brought us in. I explained that we had seen a vehicle in their online inventory and told him we were interested in that vehicle. Sherman brought us into his office, offered us some beverages and was very personable. We had our two kids (ages 3.5 and 1) with us, and Sherman understood that there would probably be some interruptions and rolled along nicely with the situation. As it turned out, the vehicle that we had gone in for had been moved to the auction earlier that day. Sherman asked us some questions to find out what was most important to us in a vehicle, took that information and found several alternate vehicles that they had in stock. After a few misses, we found a vehicle that we were interested in. After we test drove the car, we made the decision to move ahead with the sale. We advised Sherman what price point we were comfortable with and he took that information to Dennis and they worked their magic. Sherman made sure to come back to his office and let us know what was going through the entire process. We were informed that they were almost positive we could get something worked out. Upon the inspection of the vehicle that I completed after our test drive, I noticed the tires were a pretty worn and starting to dry rot (it was a used vehicle and appeared to be normal wear for the year/miles). Being in the insurance industry and having knowledge in the automobile field, I asked Sherman if there was anything we could do about the tires. My best hope was for 4 new tires. Sherman spoke with Dennis and two minutes later came back and advised that they would take care of the tires for us. We moved on to Vinnie's office. In Vinnie's office, we got down to business with the loan, what solid numbers we would be looking at. Vinnie was also very personable and accomodating with the kids in his office. We discussed everything and due to it being a Saturday, not all the banks responded in a timely manner. Vinnie spoke with one of the banks and when he was off the phone, advised that he was 95% sure he could get us to the payment we were looking for. We picked up the vehicle today and the payment was within $2.00 of where he gave the 95% chance for. As far as car dealerships go, Elmwood Dodge has been the most satisfying and easy going process I have encountered. They were honest and up front and made my wife and I feel comfortable. I never once had a feeling that anyone at the dealership was trying to hide anything or pull one over on me. I would like to say a big Thank You to everyone there and recommend this dealership to anyone that needs a vehicle. More

My Boyfriend and I visited Elmwood Dodge last weekend to look at a used Jetta. When we arrived we were greeted by Mr. Sherman Jones. Sherman was not your "typical car salesman". He was warm, friendly and re look at a used Jetta. When we arrived we were greeted by Mr. Sherman Jones. Sherman was not your "typical car salesman". He was warm, friendly and really made us feel that his main goal was to make us happy. He listened to everything we had to say about why we were interested in the Jetta, and asked all the right questions without ever making us feel uncomfortable or pressured. However we didn't even end up looking at the Jetta because Sherman was able to get us into a BRAND NEW Chrysler 200!! It has everything we needed/wanted in a car and more!! We had no idea we could afford a new car, especially such a nice one, but Sherman made it happen! We got an excellent interest rate, low monthly payment and great warranty! We couldn't be happier with the experience we had at Elmwood Dodge (unless the car were free!). I would recommend Sherman Jones and the team at Elmwood Dodge to anyone looking to purchase a new or used car! More

We have been doing business with Elmwood for over twenty years and the reason Elmwood is a five star dealership is because the EMPLOYEES are all five star people. The red carpet treatment is always extended, and in our case, the friendship and mutual trust developed between us is priceless. Dealing with Richard Miranda, Richie Ruggiero, Dennis, and Vinnie Asermely is just like dealing with family. Our dealings with the service department with our previous vehicles has always been smooth and problem free, thanks to Service Manager Jim Verdoia and Head Mechanic Ernie. Owner Jay Larchevesque has quite a team working for him. More

I shopped around a lot online to see what inventory dealerships had to offer before choosing Elmwood. I had purchased vehicles at Elmwood before and they had a couple of 200’s I was interested in. Once at the dealership, Sherman was very knowledgeable, friendly, very easy to talk to and definitely felt no pressure to buy. The Finance guy Vinnie was great to deal with. I had already acquired my own financing with a bank so he asked what my interest rate was and he went to work trying to find me a lower rate (which he did) and saved me quite a bit of money on financing. I left feeling like I got a good deal on the car and we weren't stuck in the 'price haggling' merry-go-round. Overall, it was a very relaxed and enjoyable experience and I would highly recommend Elmwood to anyone in the market for a vehicle. Even though there is a Chrysler dealer 10 minutes from my house, I will be using Elmwood (30 min away) for any service needs and future purchases that I have. They are worth it!!! More
I go into the dealership on a Saturday to have a small air conditioner service done on my 2009 Avenger - not to buy a car (which it's been in the back of my mind lately that I'm getting near the time to t air conditioner service done on my 2009 Avenger - not to buy a car (which it's been in the back of my mind lately that I'm getting near the time to think about trading in for a newer model), and Sherman strikes up a conversation with me that leads to getting a new car that very day. It was an easy conversation (as it always is with everyone at this dealership - which, by the way, is why I always go there) - no pressure, just trying to figure out and meet my needs. I'm in there about every 6 weeks for an oil change or small service and I've never had anything but a top (ten plus) experience. I like the weekend hours, as it's convenient when working full-time Monday-Friday. This is a great dealership with really good people working there. This was a great car buying experience:) More
