He gave us facts, options, direction and NO SALES PITCHES! He made the deal go so smoothly explaining everything and working with us to provide the best fit for us. I actually kept waiting for the hi pressure tactics or a manager coming in to work us over, but it never happened. I don't think I have ever worked with a better salesman. A memorable experience Where do I begin. My experience with Elmwood started with me requesting information on a Chevy Silverado. The internet salesman Matt called me Frida Where do I begin. My experience with Elmwood started with me requesting information on a Chevy Silverado. The internet salesman Matt called me Friday morning. It was a very cold wet rainy Friday. Matt and I talked for about 25 minutes or so. He asked me exactly what I was looking for in a vehicle. I told him what I could afford and that I needed to put 6 people in a vehicle. He quickly got to work and started asking me some questions about exactly what Id like to look at and work with. I made an appointment for Saturday morning April 1st at 11:30am. He text me and advised me that Jared Murphy would be my salesman. Saturday Morning arrived at the dealership for 11:30. While waiting for Jared to return, another salesman greeted myself and my girlfriend at the door. His name was Sherman Jones aka, "the Shermanator." What a character, was awesome to work with! Took my information down and advised me that Jared would be back shortly. He asked me what kind of vehicles I was interested in and so on. Sherman was such a funny salesman, really made you feel at home and very much like a family, very warm welcome positive attitude! Jared finally arrived, and greeted us with a very professional, down to earth up beat attitude right away. I knew that this was going to be a fantastic experience right from the very first moment of walking in the door. Jared ask me several questions about what type of vehicle we were looking for. He did some research and found a 2015 Dodge Journey SE that fit 7. Perfect! That's exactly what my family needed, enough room for 4 kids and 2 adults. He asked us if we wanted to take it for a test drive to see if we like it, I advised him that I would be the shortest person of the day test driving a vehicle. His personality right away responded to ours, with a professional take but also a very fun out look. He showed us all the buttons and the fact that you don't need a key to start it, which is pretty cool, reminds me of K.I.T.T. from knight rider. He showed us all the different controls from the heat to the ac to the steering wheel adjustment lever, which was great because being the size of a tic-tak really helped me out. We decided as a family that we loved it. It was exactly what my family was looking for in a vehicle. These guys are miracle workers when it came to getting financing. My credit isn't that good due to recently getting divorced and taking on debt. I don't know how they did it, but Noel is "the man" when it comes to making your dreams come true for your family. Noel from the moment I sat down in front of him was awesome to work with. Such a positive motivated person, with such a hard work attitude and really wants to help people. I think he was as excited as we were that he could get us the finance we needed. I can't say anything bad about anyone at Elmwood. This dealership if it was up to me would receive the highest customer service award from internet sales, to sales, to finance to the president of the company. Elmwood stands by there word when it comes to finance to customer service. Every single person cared about my families needs and they didn't judge us based on a credit number. My girlfriend and I are both very very hard workers, and Elmwood recognizes that. Being a volunteer firefighter for the past 20 years, I've seen a lot and its really nice when people recognize our service that we do. Elmwood not only recognized my service as a firefighter for the community but thanked me for my service. I really connected to my salesman Jared. We exchanged stories while we were talking about the vehicle. I loss my mother five years ago today April 9 due to a massive stroke. Being a first responder, I had to find my mom outside of her home. My mom was a dedicated nurse for over 25 years and always put her family first. Since my mother has passed, I have been so nervous with going to dealerships, because my mom was my rock. Jared expressed that his dad passed away 3 years ago September 8, with his birthday coming up April 8. He expressed the same feelings that I fight and battle with every single day. Just knowing someone out there who I never knew felt the same way I did was a little reassuring. He told me stories about his dad, I told stories about my mom. It was a super wonderful but also sad experience. We both loved our parents pretty much the same way. I will always recommend Elmwood to everyone I know that is looking for a vehicle. I want my friends and family and everyone I know to have the same experience that I had with Elmwood and the wonderful employees. The Hunt for the Perfect Jeep To whom it may concern, As I am writing this it has been almost 4 months since I drove off the lot with my Jeep Renegade :) Today my Jeep has 6018 To whom it may concern, As I am writing this it has been almost 4 months since I drove off the lot with my Jeep Renegade :) Today my Jeep has 6018 miles on it! I have had zero problems! For me, that is a big deal! Four months ago I walked into Elmwood Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. I was driving a 1997 Camry with 170,000+ miles. My mechanic at the time had told me that my beautiful Camry would start failing very soon because we found corrosion on my sparkplugs and they proved that anti-freeze (radiator fluid) was leaking into my engine block. Everyday I leaked coolant fluid in my driveway and everyday I drove in fear of having my car overheat. After a while I couldn't stand being scared of having my car die on me so I made choice and started to look for buying a brand new car. First things first, I have never bought a new car. I do not have any immediate family or friends that have bought a new car. So that means that I did not have a real clue as to what I was doing. I talked to friends, I searched the web, I called different dealerships in the area, I shopped for the best auto loan, I even priced out the Jeep I wanted till I knew every feature and cost. I tried to really do my homework. I didn't want to be that person who got stuck with bad deal. So my girlfriend and I pull into the lot of Elmwood Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. Its nighttime and the lights are bright but somewhat intimidating. As I open the front doors I am greeted almost immediately by a salesman. He puts out his hand to shake mine, asks me how he can help and I tell him about my problem. We go into his office and he writes down everything I am saying and starts to hunt for the Jeep that I want AND in the PRICE RANGE I wanted :) If you knew me you would know I am skeptical about everyone and I think someone is always lying about something. The difference with my salesman is that he LISTENED to what I wanted . He got related and shared his own personal experiences about the somewhat nauseating experience of buying something new and beautiful. That made me feel comfortable and I felt like I could trust this guy. Soon afterwards, we test drove a Jeep Renegade. That was a great experience for me. Nathan (my salesman) would not talk money or specifics until he felt like I was driving the car I wanted to drive. I appreciated that. - Few days later, I came back to talk financing and specs. This is when I met Noel Tavarez. I wanted a lifetime warranty, sunroof/moonroof, the biggest engine.. etc.. , Noel made sure that I was heard and at the same time made sure that he gave me a deal that I could actually afford. There was no bullsh*t or sugar-coating the costs. I truly respected his honesty and integrity. Needless to say, I bought the car and I got every xxxx thing I wanted! AND I can afford the payments! All in all, I am completely satisfied with how I was treated and continue to get treated at this establishment.
