I went to Elkins to get my best deal, especially being a preferred previous customer. I was a little disappointed with Elkins initial quote, which was $1000.00 higher than the best price I received from the other dealers. The difference was the price of my trade in. We negotiated and I was able to get the same price quote, plus an accessory added to my purchase. I was very pleased with the work of the finance department, as they were able to beat my credit union rate. The Salesman was very friendly, courteous, and helpful in answering all of my questions. I was a tough customer, but we all came away being satisfied. More

Nothing is hidden from us at all, even informing me that the service is no charge since I had ponts built up on my service card! That is great! I live in burlington and I have been to other car dealerships so I already had in mind what I was getting myself into, but I was completely wrong! The service was nothing short of EXCELLENT. I worked with matt and adam in service.. they are nothing short of spectacular. They answered all my questions and concerns and reached above and beyond to help get my car fixed and back to the way it should be.. also the friendliness is outstanding, you would of thought i had been coming to them forever, i look for personable people who give respect & i came to the right place. In my opinion if you are looking for a top notch Chevy dealer to get work done to your vehicle even for the Sales Dept. go to Elkins! It was definitely worth the trip from Burlington and I will never go anywhere else! So thank you Elkins for making my first experience the BEST! More
I had a groupon for an oil change and wanted to use it for full synthetic. I knew it would be more money, as it said so on the groupon. When I made my appointment I inquired about the price difference a for full synthetic. I knew it would be more money, as it said so on the groupon. When I made my appointment I inquired about the price difference and was told 20-25$ extra. When I picked up my car the bill was double what I expected. I asked about the bill and was being charged for the full price of 6 quarts of oil. I asked why I would pay the full price of the synthetic and not the difference between the two, regular vs. Synthetic. I was told that's how they do it and that was all. I knew I was going to pay more for synthetic just didn't think I would be basically paying for 12 quarts of oil. **********Update to this story is John the service manager contacted me about the misunderstanding and went above and beyond what he had go do and gave me a free oil change. It's good to see customer service is alive and well at this dealership. More
I had an issue that, after researching online, was an issue for many cars like mine and was part of a recall. After a check, my VIN was not part of the recall. Requested information on after sale addition to car for exhaust system on 2011 SS Camaro. Very informative and knowledgeable about part requested. Ordered part on Wednesday and had installed Monday by mi exhaust system on 2011 SS Camaro. Very informative and knowledgeable about part requested. Ordered part on Wednesday and had installed Monday by mid afternoon. Car returned washed and ready to go, and cost was less then expected. Had ride to my office and picked up when car ready, and ready when stated it would be. Great experrience have already reccommended othere to this dealership. GREAT JOB> Thanks. More
My husband & I have been searching for a new car for months. We tried several dealerships including a chevy dealer in NY. We were about to give up when my dad recommended Elkins (he had bought his truck there). As soon as we pulled up, Jim was there to greet us. Told him what we were looking for and he was very helpful. He even was understanding when we said we also wanted to visit VW. But sure enough, after VW we ran back to Elkins. Jim had our car & paperwork ready. He was the best salesman I ever dealt with and I would recommend him to anybody & everybody!!!! More
On thurs 9/29/11 my wife and I went looking for a new vehicle. We searched the internet long and far, traveled to lansdale, langhorne ect. After our trips in pennsylvania we went looking online again, vehicle. We searched the internet long and far, traveled to lansdale, langhorne ect. After our trips in pennsylvania we went looking online again, this time searching vehix, instead of autotrader. We came across an 09 jeep grand cherokee limited. The truck was decently priced and had all the options we were looking for. I called at around 5 oclock to see if the vehicle was still available, it was. Dave then asked me for my information and when we would come to look at it. We said we will be there in 45 mins. We arrived at Elkins chevy at around 5:50. Jim greeted us and said he could help us with anything we needed. We told him we had just called about the 09 Jeep. He grabbed the keys, we both took the truck for a test drive. My wife wanted to compare it to another vehicle. We stepped away from the jeep for approx. 8 mins. While we did so another salesman took another customer out for a test drive in the jeep. We found that kind of odd since we hadnt made a decision about any vehicle yet. Once he came back and my wife saw the jeep again, she said lets do this, I want the jeep. Jim our salesman said ok great lets get the paperwork started. Meanwhile, the other customer and salesman were doing the samething. It was under our impression that since we called about it first and test drove it first that it would be up to us if we were going to buy it or not. Jim still got our paperwork together and started the process because the manager Dave never told him the other customer said he was going to buy the jeep. After waiting for over an hour to process the paperwork and get our trade evaluated, the manager Dave asked if he could talk to us. We asked if there was a problem, he said no but the other customer said he wanted the jeep first and they were going to give it to him. He tried to offer us another car, but who wants to do that once your set on something you like? He wasnt the most customer oriented manager and gave us some other options we werent interested in. So after wasting 3 hours at this dealer we left with nothing, our credit was run and we were pretty much just looked at as people that could be convinced to buy something else. While all this said, our salesman Jim (scooter) was great. He was a nice guy, talked to my wife because it was her truck, not mine, and made us feel like he knew what we wanted and how to help us. Thankfully this experience made us learn. We found another jeep that was exactly what my wife wanted the next day from lansdale chrysler, jeep, dodge. We walked in told them what we wanted, and walked out with our new vehicle. Thanks for making us spend our 30k elsewhere Dave. If you would have talked to us like customers and really wanted our business, maybe you would have gotten it. More
