It's always a pleasure and actually FUN going in to see the Elkin's boys who treat me so well. I was in the market to trade my 2009 Silverado in for a newer style (or 2012) Silverado and decided to put my vehicle up on autotrader.com. Upon doing so, I received numerous phone calls and emails from ne newer style (or 2012) Silverado and decided to put my vehicle up on autotrader.com. Upon doing so, I received numerous phone calls and emails from nearby dealerships regarding my trade in. After listening to all of the messages and checking the emails I decided to take my business to Elkins Chevrolet in Marlton NJ. After driving about 35 minutes in the pouring down rain I finally reached my destination. Aggravated from the drivers who by the way it seemed have never driven in the rain before, I entered the dealership already on edge and didn't want my time wasted. After a visit to the sales counter I was told to see Jeff as he was going to be working with me. I told Jeff I was interested in a truck that was on the lot, and instantly he wanted to go out and check it out. Regardless of the rain, Jeff offered an umbrella and we headed out to check out the truck. While out there I realized this was not the truck I wanted so I told Jeff I was uninterested, and without hesitation he began asking me what exactly I was interested in. I really appreciated the fact that he didn't try to push a vehicle on me that I didn't want, so we went to see what else he had to offer. After finding the truck I was looking for, we began the offering process (what they were going to offer me for my trade in). Initially, the offered price was just shy of what I wanted, so I requested a number in the ballpark of what I wanted. This process is usually the most undesired as the buyer and seller tend to go back and forth, wasting more time. But not Jeff and his crew, as they placed their second offer right in the range that I wanted. So, after deciding to accept, we shook on the deal and began the paperwork process. I had to wait for the vehicle as it was at a different dealership, but I was in no hurry as I knew it would get here sooner or later. That night Jeff called and left a message stating that the vehicle had been located and it would be in the next day. Due to work scheduling on my end I had to wait two days to get to the dealership and get my new truck. Jeff was scheduled off when I was to come up to the dealrship, but he didn't hesitate or waste any time to volunteer to come in on his day off to complete the deal for me. I really appreciated that Jeff; as it goes to show your dedication to your customers and your commitment to your exemplary work ethic. The day came for me to pick the truck up and Jeff worked to make the "switch" as seamless as possible, in which he succeeded. He took it upon himself to sitch over my onstar account as well as setting up my blue tooth. The overall experience I had with your dealership was positive and would definitely make me come back and conduct business, or send references there as well. As for Jeff, I enjoyed conversing with him about topics other than selling a car. He spoke with me like we were friends for some years, telling me about his family and how much he enjoys his job as well as his employer. Jeff wasn't all abbout the sale, and after speaking with him I noticed he didn't have the old school mentality that some car salesmen have. Elkins Chevrolet should be glad they have Jeff on their team as he is definitely the main reason why I chose to conduct business at this dealership. More
I stopped in for a casual test drive of a 2012 Chevrolet Camaro SS on a Tuesday night. Jeff was friendly and helpful without being overly aggressive on next steps. I was actually in communication with two other Chevy dealerships and a BMW dealership, and Jeff was the only salesmen that responded to my email quick enough to get me into the showroom, and was also the only salesmen that provided enough transparency and professionalism to leave me feeling comfortable that there was no need to play one dealership off of another, which is a BIG deal in today's world of information symmetry between Customers and dealerships. We worked out what I considered to be a great deal, he secured the car I wanted in what I consider to be record time, and delivery went very smoothly. I will definitely refer new Business to Jeff, and will definitely buy from Elkins Chevrolet if and when the time comes for me to buy another car. I will definitely service my car at Elkins, based primarily on my interaction with Adam Elkins (Service Manager, and member of the Elkins family). I had a few questions about the car, which Adam was able to answer, and he actually provided me with a detailed printout for one of the questions that he was not able to answer off the cuff. The fact that a family member is part of the Service side of the Business, and the fact that Adam exhibited such proactive, on-the-spot follow up, leaves me with the feeling that Mr. Elkins (the owner of the Dealership) has built a high-performance, well integrated dealership that Customers can rely on. (I can tell you that this is not the case at all GM dealerships, based on first-hand experience I have had in the past). More
Matt and Adam are pleasant to deal with and always underpromise and over deliver. They are typically in constant communications with me during any significant service on my vehicles. In one situation they were able to convince GM to cover a repair item that was out of warranty. They will go the extra mile for you. More
Steve Wahid is very personable and put the right deal on the table the first time. It's frustrating to a consumer to walk into a dealership and have your intelligence insulted with all the typical sales ant the table the first time. I was motivated to buy and Steve was motivated to sell, the deal was done in minutes. Additionally, every member of their team I met that evening welcomed me into their family run business and acknowledged their appreciation for my busiess. One of the best experiences if not the best experience I have had buying a new vehicle. More

I had been looking for a used Xterra and found one on the Elkins web site and headed down to look at it. I was met by James (Jimmy or Scooter) out in the lot after looking at it and we took a ride. He was a real solid guy...No pressure, no nonsense; just a strait up gentleman the whole visit. He called to follow up later that evening and we talked a price. He took the time to exchange a few calls before we got to a price that was manageable on my budget. I would have liked to get a cheaper price but I feel I got a great deal for the money! I picked up the car the next day and it was cleaned and washed and ready to go. Even though I am from New York they handled all of the title, tags and sales tax issues on the spot so I wouldnt have to visit the dreaded DMV.. Jimmy was a pleasure to deal with unlike a good 90 percent of the other salesmen I had encountered over the past two weeks and 10 test drives. Well done sir! More
I kept hearing about the $9.99 oil change after each Philadelphia Flyers win. I thought there was a catch to the deal especially since I have spent $25-$30 for oil changes for years. I pulled up to the dealership and was greeted by Adam who walked my over to the service department. It is a very nice feeling to be greeted and treated kindly and time I am going to spend money at a business. Adam was a service advisor and I told him I was there for an oil change. Instead of charging me the full price as if I didnt know about the Flyers promotion, he told me I was in luck and that the oil change would be $9.99 today. I walked out to my car with him so he could get my milage. Right away he noticed that my tired were completly worn out and showed me how to tell how worn they were. I had no intentions of spending anymore money at the dealership that day. I would never get tires at a dealership because of their high prices. Under no pressure, Adam recommended I get new tires because mine could be very dangerous in bad weather. He told me that their tire prices were very competitive and that he was sure I'd be satisified with the price. After calling a few other tire companies to get quotes, I decided to go ahead and have Adam replace my tires since his prices was were much lower then the other places I called. Waiting in the showroom, Bob and Jason were at the front desk and asked if I was okay, offered me coffee and asked if I needed any assistance. I told them I was getting service but jokingly said I would love to drive that new Camero. One thing I loved about this dealership is that the salesman werent volchers. Jumping down my throat the second I walked in to try and sell me a car. They all had smiles on their faces, great attitudes, were extremely friendly, and made sure I felt comfortable. After 40 minutes, I went to check on the progress of my car. Adam said it was just getting the complimentary car wash and It will be ready to go in a few minutes. I was very impressed with how fast the service took. Adam told me how much I owed and was very satisfied. Oil change, 4 new tires, and a rotation, all for an exceptional price. I'd recommend Elkins Chevrolet to anyone who is looking for great service at an affordable price. From the moment I pulled up, I recieved excellent customer service making my visit to Elkins an overall fantastic experience. More
