Being picked up at the Sacramento airport and taken to the dealership was a welcome bonus. The sales completion and vehicle instruction processes were well and quickly completed. Mr. Varner was friendly, informative and related well to my wife and I. Driver's side tires leak slowly, but I don't yet know if this is a defect or road hazard. The plastic light lens from the underside of the driver's door is not installed, but was saved for later installation. The owner's manual reflects the fact that this vehicle is unnecessarily complex, and is a bit intimidating to non-techies like me. The manual illustrates and describes a garage door opener, but doesn't say if this is supplied with the vehicle (not found), or an optional accessory. The on-line vehicle specification sheet describes three 12 volt outlets, including one in the trunk, but which was not installed. I will insist that one be installed by Santa Barbara VW, as per specifications, as this 12 volt trunk outlet was one of the reasons I chose this vehicle. We plan to do long distance cruising, and take a bi-metal 12 volt cooler in the trunk. William Berry More
