When professionals The professionalism of staff has never failed my expectation since I started getting services in 2000 for my vehicles and my mom's. When professionals are taking care of your vehicles, you feel confident about driving your car anywhere - recently, I had traveled straight from Sacramento to Nevada to Utah, Arizona, and back to Sacramento by Bakersfield, California covering almost 2,000 miles. I traveled with family members; and I am gladden that I had my 2000 Toyota Sienna serviced before this vacation trip. I did not have any problem along the way - safely getting to vacation destinations and the great sights of canyons - Bryce, Zion, and Grand - and safely back home. Great Job - Keep Up! More

Quick Service I took my car in for 20000 mile service. It was finished one half hour before it had been promised. That always makes me happy. I took my car in for 20000 mile service. It was finished one half hour before it had been promised. That always makes me happy. More
Frances Siria was very friendly and helpful. I brought my 2012 Highlander to the dealership for its 25,000 mile check-up about a month ago. However, until three days ago, I didn't realize that the cargo my 2012 Highlander to the dealership for its 25,000 mile check-up about a month ago. However, until three days ago, I didn't realize that the cargo mat in my vehicle had disappeared. I knew for a fact that the mat was in the Highlander prior to the service and when I couldn't find it after a search through the Highlander, there was only one other possibility. It had taken me this long to notice because I use the Highlander mainly to drive to work and back. When I informed Frances of the mat's disappearance, she was very understanding and ordered me a new mat, free of charge. Needless to say, I was very pleased with the service I have received. I have bought multiple cars from this dealership, and I will certainly consider buying from this place in the future. More

Upon exiting the car, I noticed a trail of fluid on my drive. I investigated further, and within minutes, it appeared that the entire contents of some fluid that was originally contained within my car, was now on my garage floor. I immediately started to panic. I live on a very tight budget, and to someone without auto knowledge began to get physically and emotionally upset over what appeared to be a major mechanical problem that I knew I did not have the resources to immediately afford. I really had no one to talk to who could give me advice. I subsequently got on the Internet to try and see if I could find any information about what the problem might be. This just added to my stress. I didn't even know what the fluid leaking was? The problems ranged from very serious to seemingly simple. There was a great deal of information from angry customers who had a similar problem and the information they were providing is that there was a hose that was recalled due to fatigue at 90k miles. Multiple blog entries indicated costs up to $4k because of the damage the oil caused as a result of the leak. All the entries warned that the dealership would try and tell you that the damage was not covered by the recall event. My car has 106k miles, and I was convinced I was in for a very expensive fix and a fight. Becoming more and more overwhelmed by the moment, I called Elk Grove Toyota. Adam in Sales answered the phone. I asked if the dealership would take a broken car as a trade in? I explained what I was up against. Adam made me a priority. We discussed all my options. I was probably a bit hysterical. He kept calm. He told me he would help me get through it. He started to help me form a plan. He told me that I shouldn't do anything until we found out what was wrong with the car. He kept refocusing me back to the plan. Call AAA in the morning, tow the car to Elk Grove Toyota, see what the problem is first. Again, I have to reiterate, I was distraught. I kept telling him I couldn't afford a huge mechanical bill. He told me I could fill out a credit app, just in case I wanted to purchase a new vehicle, but told me he wanted me to wait and see what the problem was first. I was at rock bottom. To ease my mind, Adam told me about the dealership. He told me that because of the volume of cars sold, Elk Grove Toyota had many lenders for almost any situation. Adam also told me that Elk Grove's prices were the best around, so if buying a new car was the only solution, he knew we could find me a car for a reasonable price. I told him I knew I wouldn't be happy without another Avalon. I really love that car! Again, Adam told me not to think about replacing it just yet. He said we should wait to see what was wrong with the car first. He told me to get some sleep, that he would be working the next day, and to let him know when I was at the dealership. Before Adam got off work, he telephoned me to see how I was doing. (I really was a mess!) The following day, I effected the plan. My car was towed to Elk Grove Toyota. My service writer was Mark Kleefield, who was also very nice and told me not to worry. I told Mark I needed a rental car. Mark told me that if the bill was over $400, he would comp me the rental car. It's important to know that this is one of the reasons why I bring my car to Elk Grove Toyota for service. I like that they do this. I picked up my rental car keys and then went out on the sales floor to find Adam. Adam's smile and caring demeanor made me feel like I was being greeted by a friend. We had already discussed the variety of cars I might be able to afford if I needed a new ride. He took me around to see a few that he thought I might be interested in. He introduced me to Scions, which I knew nothing about, and it was apparent that he knew his merchandise. I had a lot of questions about the different Toyota sedan models. Based on my personal needs, we concluded that I really preferred another Avalon, but a Camry could be an option. He spent about an hour with me, answering questions and showing me cars. He kept telling me to hope for the best outcome with my Avalon. He repeatedly told me how good Toyotas were and that I had at least another 100k miles to go on mine. The long and short of this situation is this: Adam could have been the sleazy used car salesman that is so stereotypical in these situations. An old woman alone, in crisis, not able to see past the problem. He could have played off my stress and sold me a car. I wasn't thinking rationally. Instead, he helped me focus, created a plan for me, and even indulged my desire to look at all the pretty and brand new cars in the lot. He never once tried to sell me a car. I felt like he understood my situation, understood what I needed to do, and instead of playing off my vulnerability, did what he thought was best for me. The problem with my car was a VVTI hose. My bill was $303. Mark even comped me the rental car. Elk Grove Toyota is the best. I want anyone reading this review to go see Adam if you're in the market for a car. He is an honest, respectful guy. And, contrary to most people's perception of car dealers, Elk Grove Toyota is as honorable as they come. I would send my elderly mother there to buy a car. Bottom line, I will be talking about my experience with Adam and this dealership for many years to come. I will be buying my next cars there too. Oh, and by the way, it didn't surprise me to find out that Adam was employee of the month, BEFORE I encountered him. To me that means he must be treating people right all the time. I was so moved by how I was treated, that I wrote the General Manager and tried to contact the owner. A business is only as good as its employees. If all the staff are like Adam (and Mark), this dealership is the best around!!!!! Terri H More
