I was in the market for a '21 Lunar Rock TRD Pro 4Runner for months. I reached out to 10+ dealerships both locally and out of state. It is crazy how many dealerships wanted $15k+ markup over msrp. Don't believe the other dealerships that use the excuse of high demand to get more money out of you - there are good dealerships out there. Brian Rea was our sales rep and he was awesome and made this a painless and enjoyable process. Extremely friendly, responsive, and I never once felt pressured or like I was trying to be "sold" on something. He even went out of his way to install my cargo cover and cargo net when he saw that it was left in the packaging from the port, which I really appreciated. I waited on an allocation list for around 2-3 months, and then an additional 2 months for the vehicle to be built, shipped, and delivered to the dealership. Being a rare color I did not mind the wait at all and was just happy they were able to find one for me. The lunar rock is perfect and was well worth the wait! I also worked with Jeremy Coffelt in the beginning of my search and Debbie Jaynes for financing and the service was top notch as well. It definitely means something when all of them have been with Elk Grove Toyota for over 20 years and it shows. This experience was horrible. I took my car in for an oil change. 6 hours later I finally get the call saying that my car is ready. I get there and they give me my keys. I go to my car and see that it’s not change. 6 hours later I finally get the call saying that my car is ready. I get there and they give me my keys. I go to my car and see that it’s not washed like they told me it was. So then I wait 30 minutes for them to wash my car. Still my car was dirty but by this time I’m melting in the heat and ready to go home. This was probably the worse experience I’ve ever had with any dealership. I doubt that I’d come here again. There’s no way In xxxx an oil change should take 6 hours. This place is insane. You would think that service would be better given how high the prices are here. More
