I purchased a vehicle online (gave them all my financial information and personal information) - received a purchase confirmation and an email to contact the dealership for signing and pick up details - I c information and personal information) - received a purchase confirmation and an email to contact the dealership for signing and pick up details - I call, and they said "we never had that car available but we can put you on a waitlist for 8 months to a year for that same vehicle - the price might be different then but we will have you reapply." There was no resolution after hours (4 days actually) of calling the dealership's sales and finance teams. The final call was from the General Manager "bluntly" stating "this is not a fraudulent transaction, and we can't do anything to help you". A fraudulent transaction by California State Law definition: an illegal act that occurs when people try to trick you out of your personal information and your money; a false representation of some factual information which can occur through words or by the conduct of the perpetrator that is false, misleads or requires concealment of what should remain disclosed. Their inventory said there was a car available and SmartPath (the online buying system they use at this dealership and many other Toyota dealerships) allows you to purchase the vehicle when it in fact does not exist. They run your credit and keep your personal information on file - for what? No idea. They can't help you delete it or reverse it - and they're extremely rude. The General Manager specifically said "the dealerships are allowed to remove the inventory from the website within 48 hours" - so what he meant is they basically got my call, realized there was no car/they sold it to someone else, and to cover themselves: they deleted the listing. The whole team was understandably confused and agitated (as am I), but there was absolutely no reason they needed to be rude. I would not recommend buying from this specific Toyota Dealership, and I also wouldn't recommend using any SmartPath. More

Literally everyone I dealt with at this dealership was wonderful except Carly Watkins.Not only did she attack me verbally and lied on me, she was completely not helpful.
