Before even coming into dealership I spoke to James on the phone and told him was I was looking for. James listened to what we were looking for and found the car that best fit the description. Purchased a 2014 Camry Hybrid a few days ago from Elk Grove Toyota. I originally got a quote thru the Costco program on a 2013 which had a $1000 rebate or 5 ry financing at 0%. We test drove the XLE fully loaded 2014 model. I was going to go with the base model and skip all the bells and whistles. Fell in love with the car and went went back to the office asking Fritz to look for fully loaded 2013 models. He seemed quite concerned that he couldn't find any 2013 models. Finally he found out they had all been recalled and could not be shown until a minor repair on the windshield washer was performed as it might leak on a computer. He talked to someone and offered either coming back when the 2013's were available or the dealer would take $1000 off the Costco price for the 2014 and we could get 36 mos. financing at 0% The price actually was less then I expected. We were getting a car with over $4500 worth of extra accessories and the newer model for about $4000 more then I expected to pay for the 2013. Fritz had the car cleaned up and filled with gas while Debbie did the paperwork with us. Wasn't long and Anthony paired our phones to the car, showed us the basics on how to get the car home and I was on my way, Two days later I am still trying to figure all the electronics out but am up to 37 mpg and love the car. I highly recommend Elk Grove Toyota, the Costco pricing program, and the Toyota Camry Hybrid. • • • More

We did some comparison shopping through Edmunds and True Car and were offered a deal at another dealership; how we chose to buy our car at Elk Grove. A year ago, I purchased a vehicle from this dealership and my experience was ok so I thought I'd give them another chance a few months ago when I went shopping for my truck. My second experience was horri and my experience was ok so I thought I'd give them another chance a few months ago when I went shopping for my truck. My second experience was horrible! During upon negotiating for my trade in, I would not budge. I told them if they won't give me what I want, which they were trying to give me $100 less than I wanted, then it's ok and I'll continue shopping around. The sales manager, whose name is not listed on their website or here, basically raised his voice at me, a customer!? He said "you are willing to let this truck go for just $100?" I was upset and told him to return my keys, which they're holding and refused to return, and I will look elsewhere. He eventually stopped and gave me the $100 that we were going back and forth on the trade in. Never once in all my years of purchasing cars, have I ever seen a worker raise their voice to a customer. This will be my last purchase at this dealership. More
