Michael was very patient with me and answered all my questions. In the beginning be pointed out the features of the car and also pointed out all the problems during the shipment of the vehicle. He was v questions. In the beginning be pointed out the features of the car and also pointed out all the problems during the shipment of the vehicle. He was very friendly, thoroughly explained my options, and made me feel at home. Not to mention the best deal I could find in a 150mil radius from San Jose! LOVE my 2012 WRX STI sedan! Mike helped me choose the best financial option and pick out the best warranty for my car. More

Purchased my new Outback from Elk Grove Subaru in October. Great experience. Brought her in for a service to Bill Floyd. He was so very helpful, even putting on my new license plate frames I had just October. Great experience. Brought her in for a service to Bill Floyd. He was so very helpful, even putting on my new license plate frames I had just purchased to installing my #1 Subaru emblem. I mentioned to Bill that my old service center always had coupons for me. He said I would be receiving them in the mail and he was correct. Even though I have to drive a ways Elk Grove Subaru is my home for service and a new Subaru when the time comes. I have told my friends how pleased I am with EGS. People in shopping centers etc., come over and want to see the new 2012 Outback. I have been told so many times that "I made a great choice in my vehicle, and they notice how "much more room there is inside compared to the older models". More
My husband and I recently bought a certified used tribeca and were traveling up to lake Tahoe from San Jose when we noticed that the passenger side glove box/ dash sprung a leak inside the car. Worried that and were traveling up to lake Tahoe from San Jose when we noticed that the passenger side glove box/ dash sprung a leak inside the car. Worried that we would have to cancel our trip to get it fixed we called the nearby dealerships to see if we could bring it by for a diagnosis. Maita Subarus service gave us the standard answer that we'd have to make an apt tomorrow morning and then leave it for the day to be diagnosed. We then called elk grove Subaru and they told us to come on by. Service consultant kurtis Klima quickly diagnosed the issue by jumping in himself to figure out the problem. It turned out to be relatively a simple fix, which he did himself. We were in and out in less than an hour and now back on the road. Thank you Kurtis for your prompt, friendly, and professional customer service. More
I have bought cars from other dealerships and this was the least stressful ever. There was no high pressure to buy and no closer was brought in to pressure my husband and I into buying this car. I had a good experience. The only reason I marked low on price was that there as a sale going on a few days after I was going to buy. I little bit of the charm was taken out of my purchase when I hear on t price was that there as a sale going on a few days after I was going to buy. I little bit of the charm was taken out of my purchase when I hear on the radio about a sale where I could have saved a more than a few bucks literally days later. I would have been a customer for life if they had told me to wait to catch the sale. More
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM LASHER!!! I had a horrible experience with them. They tout themselves as a family business that cares about the customer. But, this could not be further from the truth once y experience with them. They tout themselves as a family business that cares about the customer. But, this could not be further from the truth once you leave their lot. I bought a used car from them in November 2011. A couple of weeks later, I noticed a few issues with the car. I was traveling across country and had to pull over on the highway in New Mexico at night with my “check engine” light on. I called the dealership, and my salesperson and the manager argued with me about Lasher not being responsible for any costs and how I should have had the car checked out before I left California. After a 45-minute uncivil discussion with one of their managers, they finally agreed to cover the cost of an assessment and to take it to any shop. I scheduled an appointment with a shop in my home state a few days later. Lasher then told me I needed to take it to a certified Honda dealership. So, a few more days later, I took it into another shop. Here is what they found: 1) The recall was never completed when they sold me the vehicle. I had specifically asked this from the salesperson, and he definitively said that it had been done. 2) I had noticed a few days after purchasing the vehicle that the radiator reservoir was empty. The shop did not find any leaks, which means Lasher never topped off all the fluids as they told me they had. Essentially, their “100+ point test” on my used vehicle was obviously not done correctly (or, possibly, not at all). It scares me to think what other things could be wrong with the car and were missed during Lasher’s supposed pre-inspection. I also had a horrible experience with their finance department trying to get a refund for 3rd-party insurance. Overall, Lasher’s service department and overall customer service is horrendous. I will never purchase from Lasher again, and I do not recommend anyone purchasing from them. More
This is a dealership where the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. The sales process was just fine and Paul the sales person was really helpful, as was Omar the finance person. But the what the right hand is doing. The sales process was just fine and Paul the sales person was really helpful, as was Omar the finance person. But the delivery process was terrible with extremely poor internal communication. I live 2 hours away from the dealership but found the car I wanted and got straight-forward communication from Paul right from the start. Went to the dealer and bought the car on a Saturday, but there had been a "no-sale recall" on the master cylinder so I had to wait for delivery until it was replaced. No biggie. I also bought the "Final Touch" detailing and a tow hitch to be installed. Paul even offered to have the car delivered to my home. On the following Wednesday I was asked to come in and pick up the vehicle, but when I couldn't, the offer was made to deliver the car at 5:30. At 3:00 I got a call saying the master cylinder was replaced but they hadn't done the Final Touch or installed the hitch (mind you, I bought the car the previous Saturday). So we picked up the car at the dealer on Friday. On the way to the dealership we received a message asking us to make an appointment to come in and get the Final Touch completed - strange, because they said it was done. Also, a stain on the upholstery that we noticed in the purchase process was not removed as promised. When I called a Sales Manager to ask about the Final Touch the following week, I received another call asking me to make an appointment to come in and get the work done. And two weeks after purchasing the car, I received a DMV Address Change form from the dealership with no explanation; we have not changed our address in 15 years. Also had a confirmed appointment for a Monday to get the front seat cushion replaced (mind you - I am 2 hours from this dealership)but nobody told me that the cushion was back ordered and wouldn't be in until Tuesday.
