I asked questions that were important to me in a new car purchase...about the car itself... and some of the responses turned out not to be true. I don't know if the sales person was ignorant about the car or if he was just trying to tell me what I wanted to hear so I would by the car. After I bought the car and figured out what I was told about the car was untrue, they kept saying they would make it right and after many emails, calls and a couple more visits, they still did not do anything. They seem to understand that I was misinformed and they kept saying they wanted to make it right, but nothing was ever done. Never had this kind of problem when I bought cars new in the past (Honda's). More

Recently went to Elk Grove Subaru to look at purchasing a Impreza. When we arrived we met Mike Carlson, let me say he is absolutely the best car salesman the we have ever met. He got us a great deal and the car that we wanted. Brandon Vaughn in financing was also great he took his time to go over the loan and extended warranty options. He was very personable and honest. We had an all around great experience with Elk Grove Subaru and would buy there again. More

Elk Grove Subaru was also the first dealership in our situation with an immediate response for a Forester. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and introduced to Mike Carlson, Internet Director. He was a great guy, very professional, yet were personable. All the other staff were very nice as well. Mike took good care of us from the beginning until the end. Purchasing our Forester with practically no hassles made for a very nice experience. However, we did find the Finance Department to be a bit pushy with the selling of an extended warranty, which we did not want. Would definitely recommend this dealership to others. More
David Melo was very professional, pleasant, and courteous. He was also patient and did not push me - which I much appreciated. He waited until I contacted him the second time. When I did call him, he was very nice and answered a couple questions even though he was not at work. I ended keeping him on the phone longer than I should have. On buying the vehicle, again he answered some questions and we drove around to find the vehicle that I wanted. Jeremy R - Finance - was very personable and a good salesperson also. He pushed to sell the Warranty and Finishing Touch, but we ended by negotiating. Bill Floyd was professional and courteous. When I took the Forester for the Finishing Touch I showed him a scratch that had been on the car when I purchased it - I hadn't noticed it before purchasing. He told me that the service would probably take care of it. When I picked up the car (SUV?), I noticed it was still there, but didn't say anything. Then Mr. Floyd came out with another gentleman and they looked at it together. They said that Mr. Melo would be in contact with me regarding the scratch. On leaving the lot, a young man (didn't catch his name) added water to the Coolant - the blue symbol was on and had been before. He answered my question very politely and clearly. He also smiled - very nice. Overall my experience at Elk Grove Subaru was great. I am still waiting for David Melo to contact me regarding the scratch as Mr. Floyd said he would. It's only been a few days. More
