She helped me initiate an order for this new model, color and available feature recommendations, and scheduled a test drive and pick up the day it came in! Her enthusiasm for her job and knowledge of the vehicles was definitely a bonus. In fact everyone I met that day was nice and seemed genuinely happy to be working there and sharing a great product as part of the Subaru family. All -in-all just a low stress, low pressure experience than I remember from the past.Would definitely recommend Marissa and this dealership. More

My husband and I purchased a 2025 Subaru Forester about four weeks ago, and from the start, something felt off. By the time we reached the paperwork stage, I was certain something was wrong. We struggled to get a clear APR from our salesperson, Clark. When I finally insisted on knowing, he mumbled "6.9" and quickly left the room. Given our excellent credit scores, we knew we could secure a better rate through our credit union, but we found it odd to be offered such a high rate. We made it clear to both Clark and the finance manager, Britt, that we were not interested in any warranties. After researching Subaru, we were confident that a new Forester wouldn't have significant issues for many years and that an 8-year/80,000-mile service plan was unnecessary. However, both Clark and Britt lied, telling us we could receive a much lower APR if we agreed to the service plan. Against my better judgment, I agreed to the 8-year/80,000-mile service plan. After returning home and doing further research, I realized this service plan wasn’t right for us. Trying to cancel the contract was a nightmare. I was passed around to sales managers Patrick and Alonzo, but neither of them followed through. Patrick made promises he never intended to keep. In the end, I am thoroughly disgusted and disappointed with Elk Grove Subaru’s business practices. Their lack of accountability, integrity, and honesty is evident. I will never return, and I regret not researching their reputation earlier—there are many other dissatisfied customers with similar experiences. I will be contacting their corporate office to file a complaint as well as putting this review up everywhere. More

12 years ago I bought my first Subaru here at Elk Grove. I came back just few days ago to get another Subaru. When we got to the dealership she had the first car she wanted to show parked outside. As soon as we walked in Rhylee her Bulldog greeted us. I love that they are dog friendly. Marissa Anderson was awesome and pleasant, she took the time to show us two different editions of the Subaru Ascent! She made the car buying experience very pleasant. Marissa helped us examine various model choices and then focus on the Ascent Touring model. She made us feel welcome and she reassured us that we could have our personal choices fulfilled. After our in-person visits, she continued to help us online to order exactly what we wanted. After the car arrived, she continued to provide friendly support and professional expertise in all the administrative requirements to complete the purchase. Then after all the paperwork was completed, she conducted a thorough demonstration of all the vehicle controls and features. More importantly, Marissa is skilled at "reading her audience" and emphasizing those features that are more important to different customers. She helped us learn what features are important to us. This is a special skill and no other salespeople we encountered in several dealers demonstrated. Plus, she has a thorough knowledge of administrative requirements. After we returned home, Marissa followed up with additional support and offered her help with any issues or questions we might have with our new high tech car.
