Bought Brand new ram 1500. Had for 2 weeks. Transmission went out at 963 miles. Told by salesman "get it towed in Dodge will pay for it." Yeah now told "I don't know if they wi Had for 2 weeks. Submitting the towing charges that Chrysler road side assistance charged me to warranty department told "they may not approve it, they may only repay half, we just don't know until they tell us." Dealership not in any rush to help consumer after getting the money. Took 3 weeks for the dealer to get fixed. Dealership has no loaner car program but can get me a rental and only cover $50 a day and only for 5 days. Had to wait for Chrysler to approve and "no one" could contact the corporate office to get updates or help move along. "We are at the mercy of Chrysler". Transmission not approved to replace, try valve body replacement first. They wanted to wash the truck before returning. Windshield looked like it was wiped with dirty rag, streaks all over it and hard water spots that I will have to get out. They put 120 miles on the truck testing the fix. And after all that could not even return with a full tank of gas. Only reason I will keep going back to this dealer for service is because I have to in order to maintain the forever engine warranty so that when something breaks again I can wait another 3 weeks without a car to get it fixed. Since it was dark when I picked up the truck I could not see the exterior. Next morning I go to put in new truck bed mat and find the bed full of sap with leaves practically glued to the paint. I was the bed and find scratches on the bed and side wall up behind passenger. More
I had a battery problem 18 months ago and my Ram Limited had to be towed in as the trucks gets popping sounds and a light show on the dashboard.. I asked Jim to do the battery check first as the last time was same situation. So I was actually surprised that my truck was ready and washed. Thank you Jim ! More
Took my Ram in for fluid change and tune up. They finally called late afternoon and said the same thing they had said 4 days ago, recommending brakes and would need to order the parts. They had done nothing. I just picked up my truck and took it to a different shop to have the brakes done. More
I would love to be able to review the service provided, but I cannot contact anyone in the service department. I've contacted the "Chat" support 4 times, each time they say someone from service will retur but I cannot contact anyone in the service department. I have filled out the "contact us" form, nothing, and just now I called the service phone number and was put on hold ultimately to be routed to a voice mail system. I left a message, but my hopes are not high. Kind of hard to get service done if you cannot talk to anyone. More
I bought a 2017 jeep Cherokee sport 4-wheel drive from them August 28, 2023. The first time I took it out on the freeway I received an alert that the 4-wheel drive was overheating. I noticed the car was s them August 28, 2023. The first time I took it out on the freeway I received an alert that the 4-wheel drive was overheating. I noticed the car was stuttering . I took it back to the dealership and they said they found nothing wrong with it. It continued to give the alert that the 4 w-heel drive was over heating and the stuttering got worse. I took it back to the dealership and was told I needed to replace the drive shaft. I requested a loaner car but was denied. They had my car for almost a month. I was charged almost $6,000. When they test drove it after replacing the drive shaft they told me it was making a terrible noise and it needed a new rear differential. That took another 2 plus weeks of them having my car. I got my car back December 29, 2023. They replaced two tires before I bought it and they had put the incorrect size. This made the w-wheel drive think the car was slipping and the computer kept putting it in 4-wheel drive until it over heated so many times it burned the component and ruined the cars drive shaft and rear end. It now shakes when driving and still sounds horrible. They say it now needs a new front end shocks and struts. I can't afford to put anymore money into this car. This dealership sold me a car they caused to have multiply problems and won't fix the current problem or reimburse me for the damage caused because of their negligence. Don't buy here. They are crooks. More
This dealership added two services that I DID NOT REQUEST and then tried to add a huge laundry list of things they said my vehicle needed that would have added $6900 to my already excessively high bill. I dropped my truck off October 2021 and was promised it back 29th of October 2021 and I still don't have it back yet. It went to service for a window and a radio problem. I have called several times to get updates and to find out why this is taking so long and I get the same thing and that is they are waiting on approval to fix the radio. Why haven't I been kept in the loop here on what's going on? I have never worked with a more incompetent service department. I am a fleet manager for a company and usually work with the Folsom Lake dealerships however one of our trucks had to be towed into Elk G department. I am a fleet manager for a company and usually work with the Folsom Lake dealerships however one of our trucks had to be towed into Elk Grove in Nov of 2020. It was there for several days because it would not start. Truck is still under its bumper to bumper. After being down a truck for days and calling and leaving a message with Matthew Reid multiple times, with no call back, I finally went in to the dealership speak to someone because apparently I'm not allowed to talk to anyone but Matthew. Absolutely ridiculous.. I had to suggest bringing in the spare key to see if it would start the truck because they had no idea what was wrong with it. Next day I brought in the extra key and it started the truck right up, so it needs a new key fob. After 4 months of waiting I called the dealership and asked about my key they said that this part is "first come first serve" and they wouldn't hold it for me. I couldn't take that truck off the road at that point so I called back a week or so later and they didn't have any keys left. Its now almost a year later and I finally had enough of this game. I called on Monday 8/16 only to be passed around from the scheduling lady, to parts, to service. I got hung up on twice before I spoke to Jim who scheduled an appointment for today, 8/19, and he put a key on hold for me. When my employee arrived this morning for the scheduled appointment he was told by the service guy that there was no key for us there, that they haven't had them in some time, and they have no idea when they will get more because "COVID" ... When I was told that my employee was getting turned away I tried to call Matthew, shocker he doesn't answer. I called the main number right back and asked the operator to speak to a live person in service, guess who answers, MATTHEW. I asked him why they would schedule an appointment and tell me they would hold a key for us if they never had them (according to their service guy) . He put me on hold and when he came back he said I have your key in my hand. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? This is of course after my employee has left because he has other things he needs to do today. I asked him how this happened and he said "I don't know I put my hands on your key" and then hung up on me. Stay clear of this service department they clearly have no idea what they are doing. More
