Drove from Michigan to purchase a used Kia Soul. Remle was our salesman. I have been to a lot of dealers before and i would highly recommend Elgin Kia. My wife and I put a $500 refundable deposit on the Kia Telluride. We ended up going with the Hyundai Palisade, so we attempted to get our $500 back. While we ended up getting our money back, it was not easy. After 2 emails and 3 phone calls, we ended up driving to the dealership. Once there, they were nice enough, but it took another 20+ minutes for us to get our money back. Why? The dealership only has 1 tablet they use to handle the financial end of their transactions. That 1 tablet was being used by someone else, so we had to wait. No cashier, and no one was available to help us. So while the dealership is nice to you when they have your business, things definitely change when they don't. It took less than 5 minutes for Elgin Kia to take our deposit, yet it took 5 contacts, a visit to the dealership, and another 20 minutes to wait for "the tablet" for us to get our deposit refunded. Our experience with Elgin Kia was not a positive one. The likelihood of us returning for any future car purchases? Very low. More

When I arrived, I noticed how other people were sitting in this car and watching it, and after a while They was told me that the car was sold, which I reserved for myself on that day for a specific hour. I drove 50 miles to hear that the car was sold and no one told me about it. They told me who first come the better one, LIARS and SCAMMERS, I do not recommend to anyone !!!!! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 More
Worst dealership experience I’ve had!! I was interested in purchasing a 2022 Kia Telluride. I was coming from an hour away and already had my financing all set up and was up front about all that prior to m in purchasing a 2022 Kia Telluride. Once I get to the dealership, they tried talking me into using their financing and then when I said no, they said that the price of the vehicle was going to be 2,000 more now. Told them I wasn’t paying extra and they came back down to the original price. After we agreed on the price and signed paperwork, they informed me that the car is still available to the public until they have a check in hand, even when I put down a $500 deposit. Extremely shady experience and Jermey was terrible to work with ! Avoid this place at all costs ! More

Kostya is the salesman I had a pleasure of speaking with I was eager to buy a car locally rather than drive 30 minutes away but the guy made it so difficult to work with, I test drove 2 vehicles that day an I was eager to buy a car locally rather than drive 30 minutes away but the guy made it so difficult to work with, I test drove 2 vehicles that day and went in to discuss numbers, he gave us false numbers and did not want to provide an estimate out of door pricing. my brother who works in finance and logistics asks him for a piece of paper and a pencil and begins to draw out a spreadsheet for the cost of the vehicle. At this moment kostya is fumed, turning red, starts interrupting us and grabs the piece of paper rush’s to the back office like the coward that he is. At this moment we are waiting patiently for his return to continue working numbers on the car as we watch him run from office to offices frantically. 10 minutes pass and he comes back with his business card and proceeds to tell us if we’re ready to purchase a car feel free to come back, I laughed so hard and took my business to Gary Lang auto group in mchenry and bought the same vehicle with lower miles for a phenomenal price. I have no idea why kostya would react the way he did but personally I think this dealership which is known as WAG Kia of elgin not napleton anymore would have salesman like that working for them. Transparency/ respect in this field is key and a majority of these salesman that work at WAG kia lack both. As a consumer stay away and let this place go out of business! More

I’m sitting on a 2017 Kia Sportage since August 06, 2020 With No Working Air Conditioner which I brought back in the very next day to have it checked out. Service department inspection came back Good for some reason. Here I am Almost A year later trying too get the problem fixed but I now have to pay out of pocket. I Put Down A Large Down payment of $10,000 and I’m still stuck paying the Remainder and the Kia Sits Parked Because it Is A Burning Hot Box. The salesman Knew This Before he Sold me The Sportage. Just Want to Thank David Lamoso For Being Such A Professional Person With Integrity and Carrying on A Happy Face while I Pay & Suffer From All His lies From the very Beginning. Reported him too BBB. We purchased a Telluride in the beginning of March. After doing a lot of research and visiting multiple dealers we were on our way to purchase a different car from a dealer in the area. I had my heart set on a Telluride and Napleton had the model and color of my choice. We decided, lets stop and see what happens. We were greeted by Sheila Nieves who was very sweet and professional. We explained what we were looking for and the price we would pay. After a few conversations within 20 minutes we agreed on a price and we purchased the car. We were out of the dealership within 2 hours. Sheila really made us feel comfortable and at easy with the whole process. I would definite recommend Sheila and this dealership. More

We came a few weeks ago and wanted to trade in a Toyota Camry we asked the girl if we could test drive a telluride and she was very hesitant... after we explained we wanted to trade in the car and had mone Camry we asked the girl if we could test drive a telluride and she was very hesitant... after we explained we wanted to trade in the car and had money down she went and told us it was not doable.. since the telluride was over the price range we asked if we could see the new Kia Sorento and she said no that they were more expensive. I was really bothered they turned us away not even giving us a chance to check our credit or test drive the car. Yesterday we went to a different Kia location where we were able to test drive the cars and they were Able to get us into a new Kia Sorento without any hesitation! With all that being said this place is trash and horrible at doing business!!! Would not recommend!! More
