Submitted an offer, said they'd consider, never heard back I submitted an offer for a used vehicle this morning. My offer is more than what the vehicle is priced for online, however when you get in the dealer I submitted an offer for a used vehicle this morning. My offer is more than what the vehicle is priced for online, however when you get in the dealership, they hit you with an additional $1,500 in processing fees (not including TTL) if the vehicle you are looking at is off brand (something to keep in mind). I worked with Gus, and from the start it seemed like he just did not care about me at all. Did not talk to us at all during the test drive (was texting) and kept us on 35mph roads the entire time so I could barely see what the car could do. I spoke on the phone several times with one of the sales reps, who was very nice and considerate, and she tried to get me in contact with Gus. I got through once out of the three times I called. He answered and I told him my offer for the car, which in my opinion was a very fair offer. Gus said he would talk to the used car manager and call me back in 5-10 minutes. Guess what, still haven't heard back five hours later. Pretty sure he went home without giving a crap about the sale. It's like he doesn't want to sell cars? To conclude, I would not waste your time going here. I walked in the door with my father and all of the sales guys were chatting around a vehicle, they glanced at us and did nothing. We walked around the showroom for a few minutes until a NON-SALES person asked if we had been helped. He then called the sales guys over the intercom (mind you the sales guys were next to us this whole time) and finally one of them turned around. I don't understand, I was genuinely interested in purchasing a vehicle here and I made a very fair offer to Gus for the car, but it's like they don't give a xxxx about me or the car at all. Very disappointed, more than likely would have purchased the car as well if I had not been treated so poorly. More

From the beginning, the salesman could not answer basic questions about the car, its accessories, or comparisons between vehicles. When we went inside to purchase a car we sat for long periods of time for the salesman (Javier Olvera) to finally understand that we were using a green sheet discount and left us waiting for at least 20 minutes. Online they advertized a discount price for the car, little did we know that this price didn't really exist and was a gimmick to get you into the door. After we told the dealer that we would not be paying the full price for the car, he left again to get his manager to come over and negotiate. The manager (Don Smith) also, would not give us the green sheet discount nor the price advertised on their website. He proceeded to call us, their customers, "Crazy" and "Nasty" for refusing to shake his hand after he rudely stood his ground and stacked his papers. Repeatedly called us "crazy" for saying that we wanted the car for the price THAT THEY ADVERTIZED ON THEIR WEBSITE DIRECTLY, after showing it on my smartphone. 4 Hours of our time was lost, but not without the dignity of NOT giving them a penny of our money! We left after that, and went to another dealership that very night and received a better deal with a fully loaded vehicle with exceptional customer service, leaving them in great disbelief that these were their policies and that we were treated so poorly. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this car dealership In Elgin. They had the nerve to call us back a few days later to try and get us to buy a different vehicle!! Absolutely not! No care or respect for customers, and provide false hope to get you in the door prices on their website. Don't waste your time expecting decent customer service or fair, reasonable prices, because all of which are not to be seen here. More

BAIT AND SWITCH Your customer service is absolutely despicable. 1) I call down to ask you for the best possible price on an advertised vehicle and you call me bac Your customer service is absolutely despicable. 1) I call down to ask you for the best possible price on an advertised vehicle and you call me back with a price that is $1,000.00 more than what the price is listed at, all over the internet. (Nice bait and switch) Your excuse is that you needed an additional $1000.00 to certify the vehicle. 2) Your female sales associate explained to me (twice) that the used car sales manager would be calling me. I receive a third call from Ray Villaford, he explains that he can sell the vehicle without the certified warranty but that I would need to fly into sign paperwork and verify my identity. I explain to Ray, vehicles are sold and financed all time to out of state buyers. The best part is how Ray explained to me..."that I would not need to show identity to pay cash"... speechless. He begins raising his voice at me when I explain that he is incorrect. 3) When I asked Ray the condition of the car and if it has any scratches, his response is... "ummmm I don't think it does". His final comment is "do you want to buy the car or not", prior to hanging up as I have now irritated him at this point. I would suggest staying away from this dealership as they clearly attempted to use bait and switch. I now have the screen shots and plan to forward this info to Illinois Attorney General's office. We just found out the dealer put PASSENGER CAR PLATES ON IT!! I can't think of a more blatant mistake for a car dealer to make.. We drove all this time in violation which could have resulted in a $250 fine. The dealer did not seem too concerned when I called them and all they offered was to reimburse the $29 fee from the DMV to replace the plates. 2. Absolutely no one from the Dealer ever called or emailed us to follow up as every other dealership I purchased from has. 3. The sales person that sold us the truck misrepresented the available features on this truck by indicating they were included. One of the features is just not on this model and the one requires paying a hefty fee. We are certainly regretting buying our truck from this place. DO NOT CONSIDER More

It was listed as 26,462 on-line but they said the car should have been $35,000 after rebates. Funny when the window sticker was only $33,000!! When I spoke with a manager he said he makes people mad every day. Perhaps the manager should check the price before it's posted online. Manager wouldn't even attempt to make it right. Not sure how a dealership stays in business when you treat customers that bad. We had cash in pocket for our down payment too! More

Bait and switch We called to see if a car was available and no one answered so I left a voicemail. No one called back so I sent an email and they said to come in for a test drive. Confirmed the next day that everything was still good. Confirmed again 15 minutes prior to walking in. When we walked in, we were told the vehicle sold and they immediately tried to upsell a vehicle that was 4 years newer. It really seems they only advertised this car so that they could get you in the door. After we went there, we attempted to text and call April to verify that the car was sold and she did not answer the phone, return voicemail or our text. After looking at Google reviews, this is not the first time this has happened. Multiple other people have recently reported them doing this. Highly advise not purchasing from this dealership. More
Highway robbers i purchased a 2017 pacific from elgin crysler and first of all they sold me a car with a broken radio and if that was not bad enough i returned the ca i purchased a 2017 pacific from elgin crysler and first of all they sold me a car with a broken radio and if that was not bad enough i returned the car within hours of buying it and they would not take it back or offer me any kind of resolution. now i am waiting so far over 30 days for the new radio to arrive in service and they tell me after repeated calls to them that it should arrive by july 7th i have already made my first payment 6 days ago on june 15 they promised me full coverage if i bought a certain package, after reading the coverage there are still things not covered. so my advice would be to go anywhere to buy your next car except elgin unless you want to get royally messed over now i am stuck with a fifty thousand dollar lemon:( More
