Absolutely NO common courtesy! Bait and Switch Dealership I called the day before to ask if the car I was looking at was still available. They told me it was and that I needed an appointment to come test dri I called the day before to ask if the car I was looking at was still available. I'm not mad that they sold the car, because there was no guarantee that i was going to buy it . I'm pissed that they called me at 9 am to confirm my appointment, and then after an hour and half drive they told me they sold the car. If they would have had the common courtesy to let me know they sold it then this would be a different review. I feel like this was a bait and switch. I will take my business else where and suggest you do the same. More

We had to practically beg them to communicate with us and before we left to go purchase the car we called to confirm that our credit application was in order and what our rate of interest would be. They would not even give us a ball park of what the interest would be. I have NEVER dealt with a car dealership that is so anti selling cars. I understand not wanting to discuss personal information over the phone but they couldn't even tell me if it was between 3 to 10%. They have all my personal information they could have verified anything with me on my credit application. I don't consider a ballpark figure of an interest personal information. Also I do not want to drive 5 hours in a pandemic if everything is not a go. Horrible, horrible business practices. So frustrated and disappointed. More

I was planning on purchasing a used vehicle from them tomorrow and they sold it after telling me it was on hold. I spoke with Stephanie; I guess in internet sales and she helped me to fill out and submit a credit application. I then was put in contact with a sales rep by the name of Alex. I told Alex due to the pandemic I am NOT willing to come into the dealership and I am only interested in working with Elgin Chrysler Dodge jeep ram if they are able to bring me the car once approved. I am taking care of my elderly grandmother and my four year old child and me coming into the dealership with the current pandemic wouldn’t be safe for either one of them. Alex spoke with his manager and called me back and said he would be able to bring me the car once approved. Alex went over my application with me and confirmed everything with me prior to running it. I received another call from Alex and he told me that he needs to send in verifying documents because my Social Security Number was coming back invalid. I sent Alex a picture of me holding my SSC (Verification) cool. I received a call from Toyota and Lexus Financial Services to confirm this was a good number to contact me and I did indeed apply for a vehicle with Elgin Chrysler Dodge jeep ram. Alex called me back and said he needs Paystubs, Drivers License, Proof of address and he needed me to fill out a form for the SSA (Social Security Administration). Everything seemed standard but the SSA form that he needed from me, Nevertheless I complied no questions asked and sent him everything back within 10min max. I followed up with Alex and he told me that he wouldn’t have an answer until the next day; fine. I text and called Alex on 4/15 about 4-5 times before he returned my call. Alex told me that my Social Security number was NOT REAL and the lender would not fund me for the vehicle. Are you kidding me. I have received 13 credit inquiries from this dealership, I am pissed off and I will be reporting them to the BBB, How the F is my SSN not real and I provided a SSC to them, are u xxxxx kidding me. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!!!!! I am NOT HAPPY I will also be leaving Toyota and Lexus Financial Services a negative review as well. YOU WILL NOT SCAM ME OF F WITH MY CREDIT!!!!!!!!!!1 More

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM Awful experience I called before going to the dealer to see if all of the rebate apply to the 2019 Dodge Journey and was told yes. Once I got there they said I that all the rebates do not apply. After 5 hours - and I walked out twice- I was able to get the car with all the rebates. The big problem is there was snow on the front grill and I did not notice it was broken. After calling them that day and many many time each day for next 7 days no one will call me back to fix this problem. STAY AWAY.. They do not have good customer service. More

Per driving home with our new van at 9pm when dodge closes, we notice our tire pressure is at 29. Everyone left, we had no help. They sold me a car with breaks that were shot. We ended up driving home to realizing the next day, after taking it to our family mechanic, that the rioters and break pads had heat Mark's on them. Also was due for an oil change. I have no idea if they check over their vehicles before selling them, but this is ridiculous. They new we were driving home an hour and a half with a 2 year old in the car. I am beyond disgusted.
