I purchased a 2021 Jeep Cherokee from this dealer I purchased a 2021 Jeep Cherokee from this dealer back in the fall of 2020, and had a good experience with the sales team, but when I took my ne I purchased a 2021 Jeep Cherokee from this dealer back in the fall of 2020, and had a good experience with the sales team, but when I took my new Jeep in for it’s first service at the Elgin Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram service department yesterday evening, my positive feelings toward this dealer were abruptly halted! From the moment I drove into this dealer’s garage, I could tell it was not going to be a good experience! I picked up nothing but crappy attitude off of the service department customer service representatives. I was ignored by, and generally treated by two fellas in the service department at Elgin CDJR as though I was more of an inconvenience to them than a valued customer! This interaction with the service department at Elgin CDJR involved a series of passive slights reflected mostly in the attitudes of members of the service team, that convinced me that I’d rather have my car serviced elsewhere or do it myself! Before even finishing the check-in process, I told these two crabby so called customer service reps to give me my keys and open the door so I could be on my way! Needless to say, I won’t be doing business with Elgin Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram any longer! More

Not a very good experience from pressured sales to very poor customer service. The fact they only will talk with you unless you come in person is a sales tactic to pressure you to buy on the spot if you s poor customer service. Even when I made a downpayment, they still wouldn't let me leave trying to convince me to buy on the spot. Also very odd there was no wiggle room in the price when offered to pay in cash. Cash or financing means no difference to them. Very odd and was told that was the "old" way of doing business. More
