Purchased a Jeep. It was delivered, their porter blew all the illinois tolls and didn't say anything until I asked if they paid the tolls-they laughed. The dealership is still "searching" for the spare key-its been 5 days no update. The Jeep yanks so hard to the side when applying the brakes that it has already gone off the road once- have tried emailing and calling leaving voicemails and have had no response yet. Called service department for the inspection report and they aparently have no way of emailing me the inspection report they completed on the Jeep. They call and contact you so much before you purchase a vehicle, but as soon as you do- they won't return the calls,voicemail or emails. I have an unsafe vehicle I purchased that isn't up to the standards of operation that needs serviced and they don't even care! I have already emailed the Illinois automobile association and have to report them to this way. I have emailed every person that their website has available to try and get contact. The last time I was able to speak to someone 5 days ago, I mentioned how hard it is to get a hold of someone; their response is "We are short handed and very busy" Today is 3-3-22. Still waiting on a repair order from elgin with a parts list of what they're replacing and fixing. Got a first call from the service manager who left me a voicemail 10 minutes before the end of his shift on Wednesday, and just simply "TOLD" me he had a tow truck scheduled to come pick up my jeep. Excuse me? How about coordinate it? Where is the repair order, the parts list, how long will you have my jeep for, what do I drive in the mean time while they fix their screw up? What about the service engine soon lights they turned off and tried deleting? What about the brakes, rotors, caliper issue? How do they even service aftermarket lifts when NO OTHER JEEP DEALERSHIP WILL TOUCH OR REPLACE THE STEERING/SUSPENSION LIFT COMPONENTS BECAUSE ITS AN AFTERMARKET LIFT! It has to go to a lift shop! They still haven't provided the paid tolls receipt, still haven't sent me a second key. I have a repair estimate of $5800.00 to repair the Jeep they sold me, and they want to pick and choose what they fix now?!?! What about the wiring ripped Part under the dash and cut? What about the exterior lights that are disconnected and zip tied everywhere? What about the French fries under the seat and the dirty interior when they delivered it? How about, who drove the jeep 4,000 miles approx to where it needs an oil change now and I just bought the vehicle and haven't put those miles on it??? They won't email me for communication, they only want to call. Bbb involved and the bank I purchased the vehicle through. What a poor dealership to sell vehicles like this! More

If becoming the worst dealership on the planet was a competition Elgin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram has set the bar extremely high. I purchased a used car from them earlier this fall. Upon making our purchas competition Elgin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram has set the bar extremely high. I purchased a used car from them earlier this fall. Upon making our purchase and going through the financial part of the deal I explained to them that they were doing the tax & title information incorrectly since I live in Indiana. They assured me, with all of the arrogance they could muster, that "we know what the title and sales tax requirements for your state are and we can transfer your plates for you". While, I knew that to not be the case, I was excited to get my new to me car and I could get this issue fixed after the sale. We completed the process and went home. I registered the car in Indiana, and yes, they had charged me over $1100.00 too much. After many phone calls and voice mails I was finally able to talk to a business manager. I copied and mailed all of the needed documents to them to get a refund. While, this refund of the over charge was in process, less than 30 days and under 1000 miles into ownership of my new car it broke down on the side of the road and left me and my son stranded. IT WOULD NOT MOVE. I had it towed to a local shop, who is a trusted European car repair facility. When they diagnosed it and gave me an estimate I was floored. I had just spent over $32,000, so not a cheap xxx car, with a $10,000 cash down payment and now I faced a $9200.00 repair bill. Yes, a repair bill of more than 25% of the value of the entire car. When I called them to express my frustration. They said that it was my problem and the only thing that they were willing to do was make sure that the $1100.00 they already owed me was sent out ASAP. They were not willing to do anything at all to help.... I was basically told to tough xxxx it's my problem to deal with. I cannot say this with enough emphasis BUYER BEWARE ... DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. is there a way to add negative stars to these reviews ? More

Wood never buy a car there again. Looked at a used car I liked and they said they would give me $1000.00 for my trade in, went back the next day and a sales manager said they would only give $500.00 for the liked and they said they would give me $1000.00 for my trade in, went back the next day and a sales manager said they would only give $500.00 for the trade in. I brought my car in for service, over the phone they told me it would be $205.00 plus tax, when I got there it was over $300.00. Never again. More

We bought our Cherokee at this dealer in 2019! We have had our service maintenance done there a few times and have found the service to be excellent! The last person who serviced us “Alan” was quick and had our service maintenance done there a few times and have found the service to be excellent!
