I must say prior to going to this location I went to a competitor whom was very informative and had great customer service. The only reason why we didn't purchase their vehicle yet was because the salesmen told us don't rush our decision and explore our options and if the vehicle was absolutely the one we want come back and we'll get set up. He even told us what to be careful on when we explore our options with other competitors. I was in communication with Frankie via text at this location and I figured I'd give them a shot and see what they have. My husband and I already saw a few vehicles we were interested in and we wanted to see them in person. I texted Frankie to notify them we would be stopping in and I also called in to ask for Frankie but got a Brandon. I asked do I speak with you when I stop in and he said yes. When we got there Alex approached us and said he would help us because Brandon is in the internet department. The conversation started off great but then after we decided to discuss the car we liked that's when the conversation took a turn as well as his attitude. When we were talking the final price Alex kept saying he can't take taxes away because that's what we have to pay, in which I get that and We all know we have to pay taxes but its the fact he kept saying it multiple times and I don't even know why. It felt like a sales strategy to make us think we cant work out a deal on the car price because of TAXES?? Then he kept insisting he can tell us pricing once he runs my credit. I told him once we decide on the price and I feel good about my decision I'll give you my information because I have great credit and I dont want this to hit my credit if it turns out to not be what we want. He brings us this paper with the pricing break down and laid out the pricing but What we didn't get is how the vehicle went from 23k to 31k and we also noticed hidden add ons and when we addressed it he kept tip toeing around the topic and said How do you plan to pay? I asked him it depends on the total. His response was "WELL CASH ISN'T KING SO IF YOU WANT A CHEAP PRICE YOU'LL NEED TO DO FINANCING AND IF YOU DO CASH YOU'RE REQUIRED TO PAY FOR ALL THESE ADD ON SERVICES. I told him so your saying if I wanted to pay cash I have to pay more and I have to purchase these add ons because its a cash purchase and he said YES. My husband and I looked at each other and both knew this was a someone trying to rip us off and add services we don't want. His attitude changed when I questioned him. He said let me talk to my manager. When he stepped away I also noticed a manager telling one of his salesmen what to say tell a lady to make a sale and "go get it she wont even notice". I looked at my husband and said yeah this isn't going to work. Alex came back and said we can remove the add on which will bring it to x price. I told him how is that a deal you basically came back and told me the price of the vehicle plus tax the only thing not included in that price was the add they tried to be slick and add to the total. I know how to do math but I wonder if he knew that. We got up and walked out. I will never recommend this place to anyone and I would be cautious on what you get and check the fine print. More

Talked to Sam the GM who basically said it is what it is and did absolutely nothing. Tried to tell me that they get calls all the time for people saying they'll be coming in that don't show. When I told him I had an email confirming it would be waiting for me to look at when I got there, he said it didn't matter because the email didn't use the words "I promise". Terrible place to work with. Check other reviews about them and this isn't their first time doing this. They're a bigger dealership, so they will screw you any way they seem fit. Pathetic More
I reached out to Elgin Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram to request a simple lease quote on a 2026 Dodge Durango. Since I’m located out of the area, I explained that I was shopping around and wouldn’t be able to come a simple lease quote on a 2026 Dodge Durango. Since I’m located out of the area, I explained that I was shopping around and wouldn’t be able to come in person at this time — I just wanted an emailed quote like other dealerships have easily provided. Unfortunately, Brandon Santiago from the sales department refused to provide any pricing information unless I came into the dealership. When I politely explained that other Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram locations have been able to give me full quote breakdowns remotely, his follow-up response was short, dismissive, and made no effort to assist further — simply stating they “understand and appreciate my inquiry.” It was disappointing and came across as if my business wasn’t valued. In today’s market, transparency and remote assistance are standard, and I expected better professionalism and effort from both Brandon Santiago and the Elgin Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram team. If you’re looking for a dealership that’s responsive, transparent, and actually willing to earn your business, I recommend looking elsewhere. More

When I bought my 2018 Jeep Wrangler in October 2023, I made it clear to the finance department that corrosion prot a very expensive lesson learned! When I bought my 2018 Jeep Wrangler in October 2023, I made it clear to the finance department that corrosion protection, bumper-to-bumper coverage, and gap insurance were my top priorities. I asked multiple times about being covered for corrosion, and I was assured that the Luxe Care XT Protection Plan would cover it. A year later, I noticed corrosion forming on my Jeep. After reviewing my paperwork and calling to verify, I learned that corrosion is not covered under this plan or any extended warranty, and my factory warranty had already expired. This directly contradicted what I was told at the time of purchase. Now I am facing thousands of dollars in potential repairs for something I believed I was protected against. This dealership’s finance department, misrepresented a warranty coverage to make a sale… if I knew the truth, I would have purchased a new Jeep instead. While these complaints may not go anywhere, I wanted to warn other first-time buyers like myself: Do your research, Review the full warranty coverage, and be cautious with how this dealership presents its protection plans…. especially the so-called “corrosion warranty” under the Luxe Care XT Protection Plan. This place is the ultimate worst place to get any service done. I got a 2024 Dodge Hornet R/T Plus now and after 5500 miles it wont start had it towed by roadside assistance after 8 hours of waiting in park done. I got a 2024 Dodge Hornet R/T Plus now and after 5500 miles it wont start had it towed by roadside assistance after 8 hours of waiting in parking lot and when it got to dealership it took 2 full days to figure out it was a dead battery and replaced it with new one. Go figure 2 full days in shop to change a battery. Ok I should have know better to even think of leasing another vehicle from a company that has a service department that is so terribly bad and not doing anything about it for years. I was stuck in a bad situation and think I will be in same situation in the near future. My 2019 Jeep Renegade ended up needing a brand new engine and it took almost a month of a loaner vehicle and my lease running out to get a new lease with these jokers. I needed a vehicle and figured they would give me some kind of deal with all of the problems i had with the 2019 Renegade so I leased a 2022 Jeep Compass with them and really not that good of a deal, think I am over paying on this lease. Notheless i got the lease and behold another problem with new vehicle. The Dashboard Cluster is dim during daylight to were you can barely see the speedometer. Took vehicle in and service told me that there was no fix for this that Jeep engineers were working on it. I was paying on a Jeep that they could not fix. Doesnt sound right, so called Jeep customer Care to see if they could do anything and they just gave me some services that are really not useful at a service center that is not good with service. So i looked online for fixes for this problem and noticed that they had a recall for this problem. Took Jeep back and they said they could not do recall because they said it would work on my vehicle but after 2 hours of diagnossing the same problem that i have been waiting months to have fixed they think they might have a fix. I guess we will have to wait and see. Service is terrible been there 6 times never left in less then 2 hours. This last time was 2 and half hours for an oil change. Did you know Chrysler does not make a replacement oil filter for a 2019 renegade 1.3L turbo engine. This really makes me feel good about owning a Jeep. Went back again to have more horrible service. Dropped 2019 Renegade off at 945am appointment because of oil leak. Called at 1pm and they just got it up to look at it and couldnt find anything so they put die in it to see where it was leaking called back at 4pm and still no leaking but they said they would look at it again showed up at 5pm and they never looked at it. Took vehicle and will never go back no calls no service worthless wasted day I do not have time to call you and explain to you the problems listed if you can't figure it out you should not be doing business maybe come see me when I'm waiting for a 2- 1/2 hour oil change More
Our New Car is Complete now. Cruz got the spare tire and the Porter bought it to the house. Working with him was a Pleasure. Nice people to do business with.
