***Bad Business!!** I have since had to retract my last review for this deceitful car dealership. Take a moment to read this because it will help you to stay away or at least learn something. My wife and I had started by purchasing a jeep. That first experience was decent, the sales person JJ was great. We had to bring the car back because it had faulty fog lights and a windshield crack. While being at the car lot, my wife noticed a second car we really liked. We went to try to deal for that car also, thinking since it had only been one week since the first purchased, the second one would go smoothly. Well after 5 hours of waiting there and finally not being able to come to terms on payments, we decided to not go for it. Well Cory Pomeroy must have called 4 times since after we left. We like the car, but weren’t willing to pay $600!!! for a car every month. Our budget was $450 and after some further dealing, we settled right at $520. This took 2 days and a total of 9 hrs. of back and forth. We drive home with the new car only to have Cory Pomeroy call me precisely 1 week later stating that the bank decided not to fund the loan. The reason was because you are NEVER approved at Elder Mitsubishi, you are only Qualified. Huge difference and awful deceit tactic. So when you think you are done with the final purchase of your car, the bank has to call you to verify you are who you are and prove residence, phone numbers, bank information etc. That’s super odd and I had NEVER had a back call me to confirm this information after I provided it to Elder Mitsubishi and Cory Pomeroy. Cory Pomeroy and the dealership call it a “Welcome Call”. They know full well, that your loan and approval is not complete until that verification call happens!! In our case, Cory Pomeroy said we had to either pay an additional $100 a month on the car or return it. Keep in mind that this is 1 full week of owing the car. Cory Pomeroy said that we signed a sheet of paper that said I was to know this. He also said that, and I quote “you should have told them no!” to the bank when they asked if I had purchased another vehicle within 30 days. In essence, Cory Pomeroy wanted me to lie and commit fraud with the lending bank! Ask yourself, is this the dealership you want to invest your hard money with? All that wasted time and Cory Pomeroy’s solution was for me to lie, but NEVER attempted to fix the situation. More
