My name is Omar, & I’m writing this review to warn others about Elder Mitsubishi’s deceptive practices. Unfortunately, my mother Rifka was mistreated & subsequently disregarded after bringing up a few seriou about Elder Mitsubishi’s deceptive practices. Unfortunately, my mother Rifka was mistreated & subsequently disregarded after bringing up a few serious issues. Our family has owned two Mitsubishi Outlanders in the past, both purchased from Roger Beasley Mitsubishi in S Austin. Those experiences were exceptional, & we learned to love & trust the Outlander. On 11/16, my mother, a retired woman, visited Elder Mitsubishi with her friend Virginia to surprise a family member with a new Outlander, the 3rd in our family. She provided all her specifications & stipulated she was seeking an SEL trim within a certain budget, even if it was an older model. Instead, the salesman (Isaiah Irula) pushed for a same-day sale, having her test-drive an SE trim with significant hail damage which was not even disclosed. He was able to sell Rifka & Virginia a vehicle in the wrong trim with extensive hail damage, rather than shopping around to other dealerships, being patient, etc … it turned out that other dealerships had exactly what she was seeking. The car was delivered late on 11/20, since Isaiah couldn't find the keys ... The next day she discovered for the 1st time that there was: 1) Extensive hail damage 2) No key provided, only aftermarket remote; 3) Break-in: Vehicle seemingly had door pried open & damaged door badly (probably) to reprogram remote. 4) Trim was an SE Upon learning of issues on 11/21, Rifka contacted the Sales Manager, Chris Chavez, but he never returned her calls. When she finally reached Isaiah, he was dismissive & rude. Rifka, who had not driven the car at all since delivery, was asking to do what was necessary to make things right, including paying the difference for a undamaged vehicle & was unable to even get him to acknowledge the issue with the key, hail, break-in damage. On 11/23, I accompanied Rifka & Virginia to meet with Chris Chavez, since he was avoidant over the phone. Surprisingly, he seemed understanding & promised a resolution & Rifka’s hope was restored: swap the SE with hail damage for an SEL that was already on the lot at roughly the same cost as the SE he sold to Rifka. He even insisted I test-drive the SEL to confirm it met our expectations. He assured us he would follow up on Monday to finalize the swap. Rifka was satisfied & was excited about the prospects of providing the gift she had originally intended. Instead, on Monday, Chris reneged on his promise, claiming all sales were final & refusing to make things right. He ignored the hail damage entirely, as well as the key issue, & offered no meaningful solution, leaving my mother stuck with a car she didn’t want or ask for, with extensive damage that was undisclosed. There was no offer to fix the hail, provide a key, offer an original remote, etc. The following photos were given to Rifka to provide to Chris, but he did not give her a chance to provide them, so I decided to include them in the review instead. Despite Rifka’s best efforts, she was left with no recourse & left extremely unsatisfied (& stressed) … Her plan to deliver a holiday gift has been tarnished & she is now overwhelmed with guilt & regret. $35K is a lot of money for her. This dealership preyed on a retired woman’s trust, taking advantage of her desire to do something special for her family. Elder Mitsubishi prioritized a quick sale over basic honesty & customer satisfaction. Essentially, they operated like the stereotypical used car salesmen of the past, & it's sad that they continue to have places like this. If you’re considering a Mitsubishi, I strongly urge you to avoid Elder Mitsubishi, their integrity is severely lacking. It’s time for my family to seek alternative vehicle manufacturers & dealerships with better integrity ... We are generally used to being treated well & due to the uncompromising nature of the dealership, we felt compelled to leave our first bad review More
I bought a 2016 Audi Q3 from there in June. The first time the oil pressure sensor randomly tripped after driving it for 30 minutes, so I took it to the service center. The service manager, Rus The first time the oil pressure sensor randomly tripped after driving it for 30 minutes, so I took it to the service center. The service manager, Rusty, made it sound like everything was ok, so I thought it was possibly a software issue. I finally decided to take it to the Audi dealership in November, only to find out that it had an oil leak from the engine, the oil cooler was busted and the coolant reservoir had oil and coolant in it. Here is a link to the video I received from Audi. https://r7795670.m.reyrey.net/app/?ref=jfDNKSDCTb6wBGG8HROP7Q%3D%3D&sys=2b423f81-fd4a-41e6-b2ed-2cba59d62214 The first time I saw Rusty, I could tell he was a shiesty person. I went to the service center at Elder Mitsubishi to get the $4844.20 reimbursed because of the three year warranty, only for Rusty to tell me that he didn't "authorize" the repairs. Now I am out a decent amount of money because the service manager is a slimeball. Thanks a lot. More
