I bought a brand new 2021 Honda Pilot on July 2021. On 3 DEC 24, I took that car to the El Paso Honda dealership on Lee Trevino Drive where I bought it because the sun visors would no longer stay up an On 3 DEC 24, I took that car to the El Paso Honda dealership on Lee Trevino Drive where I bought it because the sun visors would no longer stay up and the clip that holds the sun shade up for the driver’s side of the second row window fell off. I was also there for an oil and filter change and tire rotation service. I was told none of what I mentioned was covered by the car’s warranty. They also refused to rotate the tires because they claimed all 4 tires were dry rotted. The tires only had 33,301 miles on them and I only had the car for 40 months. When I bought the car, I also bought all the warranties they offered me (including for tires) precisely to avoid the problems I now have when I tried to use them today. I chose Honda over other brands when I bought my last car believing I was buying a quality product, but instead, simple items are falling apart because of shoddy workmanship and substandard quality products. According to the Federal Highway Administration, the average American driver drives about 14,489 miles per year. That means I drove my car at least 10,000 miles less than the national average and the tires are already worthless and the items for the sun already fell apart. Not only that, but the warranties I’ve been paying for have also been worthless. When I complained to the dealership about the tires, they washed their hands off any responsibility claiming they did not make the tires, that I had to deal with their manufacturer myself. For us the customers, when we buy a Honda brand product, like my Pilot, everything about it represents Honda, so when their product comes with substandard quality tires or items in it falling apart after a relatively short time, either Honda is an unreliable mediocre brand or I was scammed. The customer does not expect to deal with the multiple makers of the parts that make up Honda’s vehicles. We are misled making us believe Honda’s warranties will help. Clearly, customer satisfaction is not at the top of their priorities, and I do realize they’re in the business of making money and not friends, but unless something positive is done about my situation, I for one, will not buy another Honda product again. The people I dealt with there were courteous, but nothing was done about the problem I had with them. More
Before you go to this dealership location, make sure you take inventory of what's in or on your car. Haven't had a good experience so far at Lee Trevino. I had to go back there and speak to a manager to get it back or thry gave me pne that was laying around there. She (manager) was great by the way no hassle she just helped me out - so my apologies. Now I find out that someone there either took my OEM wheel lock key or forgot to put it back in my glove compartment after they did my cabin filter replacement. I haven't had a need to go in my glove compartment until now, and now I can't get my tires rotated and balanced until I shell out $65 for a whole new set of wheel locks. Unless I want Discount Tire, or any other place, to mess up my OEM wheels with their lock removal tool, I'm going to have to buy a new set. Glad I didn't buy my Honda locally, and this location was the reason why - thats a whole other story. Never going back to this location for anything. More

Have a 2023 Honda CRV hybrid sport went in to get an oil change and I was told I also need to get a rear axle differential oil change with about a 150 Bucks but the manual says that oil should be changed be change and I was told I also need to get a rear axle differential oil change with about a 150 Bucks but the manual says that oil should be changed between 30000 and 50000 Miles but yet I've got 8000 Miles only and I'll have been told by Honda it needs to be changed that is one of the better scams I have heard in my lifetime More
I am a loyal lifetime Honda owner and dealerships like this are bad for the Honda name. They do not represent the quality standards that should be upheld by any Honda dealer. I took in my 2015 Honda Accord EX-L for what I know was not a major issue. I've owned nothing but Honda's and Acura's, all manual vehicles. This dealership tried to tell me they "recommend" replacing the full clutch assembly which was only one year old with less than 15000 miles on it. I did not have the time to diagnose the vehicle myself but knew it wasn't the clutch. They even had the audacity to tell me they could not diagnose the vehicle and I would not be charged but they still stood by there word that the clutch needed to be replaced, even the service manager told this to Honda Customer Service. All shady business practices so they can get as much money as possible from the customer. Ended up towing my vehicle again from El Paso Honda to Transmissions of El Paso and he fixed my vehicle in 2 days after finding the actual problem. The clutch master cylinder had failed and now my vehicle is back to 100%. I highly recommend finding a good mechanic in El Paso for your Honda and never trust this dealer with your vehicle. More

I have a 2023 Civic Type R, and went to the service department to replace an unrepairable flat tire. The tire was replaced, and any damage caused by the dealer to the rim was fixed.
