I called headquarters because I’ve been waiting for an airbag replacement for two years and they keep telling me how dangerous it is. Headquarters told me that McKinney El Dorado where I do my business at airbag replacement for two years and they keep telling me how dangerous it is. Headquarters told me that McKinney El Dorado where I do my business at has one in stock so they booked me an appointment. The appointment was reconfirmed with McKinney El Dorado Chevrolet. I went there Monday, which I live 45 minutes away appointment was at 10 at 11 o’clock They call me and tell me oh sorry somebody else used your part. Will have to order another one and will call you as soon as we get a replacement in. This is poor customer service. I am so disappointed you cannot tell me it took one hour of me waiting for them to realize there was no part in stock for my vehicle when they’re the ones who called me and confirmed my appointment. This has nothing to do with my service advisor, but I am truly disappointed in this customer service, and the way this has been handled for a recall, which they keep describing to me can ba a dangerous recall. The advisor offers me a free car wash Which I do not need. My point is when you have an appointment made and El Dorado Chevrolet calls you back to verify and then when I get there and wait an hour, they tell me somebody else used my part. unacceptable. More
Jose Diaz was my service advisor. I made an apt with him. I was told I could text to make any changes to my apt. So I texted AND called to move my apt to later that morning. When I got there Jose wasn’t there. So I sat. Finally some other advisor stepped in, Michael McDonald. He was great! xxxxxxto him for just stepping up and in to help. He was in the process of taking all my info and Jose comes in. Michael tells Jose this is “Mrs ____” from your apt today, to which Jose just shrugs his shoulders. Jose starts to complain and say he is in the middle of something. Michael said don’t worry I’ll go ahead and finished her up. When I’m done Michael goes to get one of Jose’s cards to give me and Jose says I don’t have any. Michael says you don’t have have any business cards?!? He says naw… so Michael says well you can have one of mine in the meantime. Says if there is any issues or questions to please reach out but that Jose would be in contact with me. Great no prob. I get a text from Jose on Wednesday telling me my car needs a new tire and he needs my approval to order. That the tire will be there the next morning and would be done. I said fine order but what about the popping from the axel? He’s response was they didn’t find any noise. Ya… ok… Thursday comes and goes. Half of Friday comes and goes and I texted and ask what the deal is with my car as it was supposed to be done and I didn’t want it just sitting at the dealership all weekend. It’s 150k car so I want it at home safe! Nobody responds. After a few hours I call service and ask what is going on. Jose is MIA, shocker! So someone else pulls my ticket and tells me the tire never got ordered. Again, shocker! I said well why didn’t someone (Jose) let me know that the tire wasn’t ordered? Bc I was told it would be there next day and the car ready. Whomever I spoke to said unfortunately he couldn’t give me an answer on why it wasn’t ordered and why I wasn’t updated. I can tell you though. I can tell you had Michael McDonald been my advisor all the way through, I would have been informed and updated. But, i ahead I got Jose who was unprofessional, and lazy from the second I met and saw him. I told whomever I was speaking to to forget the tire and have my car ready as I was on the way to pick it up. And shocker, I can STILL hearing the popping noise coming from the axel, and the tire that he said was leaking has not gone down ONE bit! I will NEVER take my car back to this service department. It was beyond awful! More
Great service once we were assigned a service manager on our first visit to the service center. 2 recalls, 1 warranty repair, inspection and oil change all handled with good communication on timing. 2 hours for an oil change. I had to stop an associate to ask him was my car finish. My car was finished 5 minutes prior to me stopping the associate.
