I’m a cash buyer, who inquired about a drop top Z06 they have. They have it listed at MSRP of 142k with an “unlock your price” bait and switch. She then went on to say they are accepting offers. How is that an “unlocked price?” I’ve found 3 brand new 2023 Z06 Corvettes at dealerships, all with a concrete price. These clowns are doing two things that are sketchy, they run a bait and switch (judging by other reviews, they are known for being shady). And secondly, they run a phony bidding scam to falsely inflate the price. I bought a Lamborghini Huracan EVO, much more rare than a Z06, for a listed fixed price. If someone is stupid enough to buy from these guys, you’ve been warned. BUYER BEWARE! If anyone is looking at that car, look online, their are dozens and I spoke with multiple dealerships who’ve all said the carbon fiber/mechanical issues is what’s holding new orders. They update every 2 weeks, so just wait, pay list price, and avoid the scam. More

In our case we were interested in a Bolt EV, where told none was in stock, so we went there with the impression we were going to locate/order one. The rep told us there was even an option to get a higher trim without paying the difference (we have emails as proof). Once there, they confirmed they had none in stock, then, after talking with the manager, they had good news: a miracle, there was one in the parking lot (lies and childish tactics). We got to test drive it and then we sat down and the sales rep asked us if we wanted to know the monthly payment. We asked "But what's the price?". Only then we were told that the price would be MSRP + $2500 market adjustment. So, we left and they totally did not care. Not all dealerships are the same of course. We have heard that the dealership in Grapevine only charges for a $750 package that includes window tinting and some other things. For us, We got confirmation to stay away from Chevy and their dealerships as we have done for 30 years. More

I have bought more new cars than I can even remember over the years and this dealership salesmen are the absolute worst experience! I was told they had 2023 model of the truck I was looking for and because o the years and this dealership salesmen are the absolute worst experience! I was told they had 2023 model of the truck I was looking for and because of that there would be a $2,500 market adjustment over MSRP well turns out after we nearly got done with entire deal and on the final paperwork he decides to tell me it's a 2022 and I was very unhappy about that and he seemed to not give care in the world or even offer apology! This dealership is greedy and I should have heaved all the warnings I got from the other dealership I do business with about Eldorado Chevrolet but this one is only one that had truck that had all options I wanted and they took advantage.. I will never trade there again or recommend anyone else to! More

The day finally came and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad salesman called to say "Come pick it up." Well, the price was suddenly $2500 above MSRP because of a "Market Adjustment" That I had never been told about. The terrible, horrible, no good, very bad salesman said that it was standard right now and he is wrong. He said that there was nothing he could do about it because Stan "Greedier that Gordon Gekko" Graff required it. I wasn't going to pay the extra money but I wold have at least like to have been told ahead of time. I was going to sell my current car to another dealership and then I would have been stuck. In case you are wondering not every dealership is doing this. I drove 38 miles to Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine where owner Tom Durant does not mark up his vehicles in a deceptive manner. If you are tempted to buy a car at El Dorado Chevrolet turn around and drive the 38 miles from McKinney to Grapevine and buy from Eric at Classic Chevrolet and avoid the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad salesman that I had to deal with.
