I took my F-250 in because the tires had signs of abnormal wear (cupping) on both front tires most likely from the shocks going bad. I told the service advisor that I felt a vibration starting at 50 abnormal wear (cupping) on both front tires most likely from the shocks going bad. I told the service advisor that I felt a vibration starting at 50 mph. The following morning I received a phone call telling me that not only are the shocks needing to be replaced but also the tie-rods and the connecting-rod along with a front end alignment will need to be done. The bill was going to be around $2200.00, I could see the shocks, because that is what was most likely causing the cupping. But the truck has not or does not pull to the left or right for the tie-rods, connecting-rod or even the ball-joints needing to be replaced. When I think about it now, I was pretty sure that the shocks were going to need to be replaced. But the one thing I knew that needed to be replaced were the front two tires and the Service Advisor never even brought it up or tried to sale me tires. I was given erroneous advice that could have cost me thousands of dollars. Have parts replaced and labor done on my truck that was not needed. This kind of practice could lead to a safety issue because they are focused on replacing high dollar items regardless whether they are needed or not and not focused on the actual problem. I feel that the quality of service at El Centro Motors, Service Department has severally declined to the point were I was lied to just to make a sale. More

I purchased a new battery. I took the battery with me and installed it myself at home. When I received my bill I had been charged labor for installing my battery which as I stated earlier was not done. I wen installed it myself at home.
